On an island off the Coast of Utopia, wolves are growing in number. Packs are being formed. Puppies are being born. Two packs, in particular, have disputes. Killing and raping run this island and crime rates are high.
However, within the last year a new breed is born. Judges, Protectors and Fighters. The strongest warriors.
Finally, a new realm is added to the island. With dreams to help those in dire need.

Hey guys! It's V here, your Graphics and Coding mod. Two cool, shiny new parts to the site-- the Bones and the Fantasy board!
I'll talk about the Bones first, seeing as it relates to the Fantasy board as well. Basically, Dare now has it's own point system. Maybe you've seen these on other sites, but if you haven't, they're basically rewards you get for doing certain things. The easiest thing you can do to earn Bones is just to post-- 10 Bones for each post you make, whether it be OOC or IC. Occasionally, since we're nice people and we like rewarding you guys for certain things around the site, we'll have a contest or a game or event that you guys can participate in to earn yourselves even more points.
You may ask, well, what do I do with said Bones? Well, we've got ourselves, meaning, the staff and myself, a shop started. Or it's going to be up soon, anyways. ^^; Once we clean up a few little details, we'll open the Dare shop in all it's glory!
Now! Onto the Fantasy board! There's a fifth tab open now, next to the Packs. Like it's title, it's where all your Fantastical dreams come true. In this board, you can have all sorts of Fantasy items, such as wings and weird powers on your wolf and stuff, because we know some people just like to roll that way :] However, you can't just get into the Fantasy board for free; remember those Bones? Yup, that's how you're gonna get in. Basically, we want to make sure you're f'realz about Dare like the rest of us are, and by posting a lot and showing you are active, we think that's a fair enough entry fee into the boards :P
More info on the Fantasy board will be up later. For now, make sure to post in the Activity Check, which ends December 4th, and to vote in the polls for Spotlights!
Annnnd, we have another great and interesting character by good ol' Captain Freedom! Kirill sends shivers down a wolves back and makes a sweet, innocent wolf think twice before walking onto Lucifer's Lands. Kirill is Alpha of Lucifer's and a soon to be father.

So I'm the guard dog around these parts. I am very protective, and I love this site like it was my own. So any funny business and you'll be looking to have to answer to me. /glare
Alrighty then, now that that is out of the way! I'm Freedom, your helpful, friendly ol' captain! I really am a nice person, I'm just very territorial. Usually I am on every day- though with the holidays you may not see me for a couple days stint. I work two jobs, and have a life (okay not really) so I can only come on at weird hours usually.

A bit about my wolves? I'd be happy to tell you! Freedom is my main wolf. He is tall, handsome, a gentleman, a fighter, the Chief Warrior to Serena's Warrior's Realm and the mate of Baby Moon. He is all black with a skunk stripe on his head, and bright emerald eyes. He has pups on the way, and will lay down his life to protect his pack and his family. Benjamin is a young wolf, pure white, with a curled tail and violet eyes. He is a giant for his age and still developing into an adult. He has been abandoned multiple times, and it is finally beginning to mark his psyche. Kirill is the alpha of Lucifer's and a Russian mob style wolf. He is large, ruthless, rude, cutthroat, and unforgiving. That is to everyone but his mate, Sonne, and his pups, Dante and Anastasia. He is "average" browns and blacks, with baby blue eyes. Moon Struck is the insane son of Baby Moon, and was raised by Freedom. He has a voice in his mind that speaks to him. He is the color of dried blood with one brown eye and one blue eye. Currently he is seeking his revenge on Freedom and is part of Cesaru's gang. Sy (full name is Scythe) is a lone she-wolf who enjoys not only men, sex, but murder- especially the contracted kind. She is a small wolf of browns, whites, and fawns, very quick and very sly on her feet. Her eyes are a vibrant gold. Anastasia is the newborn daughter of Sonne and Kirill. She is light browns, one of her eyes is dark brown, the other is light blue. She is blind in her blue eye, but it doesn't bother her. She is still growing, so we shall see how the heir of Lucifer's grows up. Nikolai is the unborn son of Freedom and Baby Moon.

Hi there everyone! I must say one thing first, to get it out of the way--being staff here on Dare is just awesome. I love helping people find their way around, and with wonderful people to work with, it's just great. Okay, so I handle all the updates around here, like accepting characters, messing with the taken names, all that mess. I'm not limited to this, so if you need any help, I'm here! :D
I love to plot! I can't wait to get my characters into any mess that they can, because it's just awesome. I have Theravada, who is an Enchanted member; I have Anakaros, the leader of the Renegade wolves and who has crazy family issues; and I have Arabesque, an Arabian wolf who is new to the area. So, if you'd like to get one of your characters in with mine, PM me! Please! I love to get to know new people and to roleplay with them. That's why I'm here, of course.
Near the Eversong Woods lie the Evanescent Meadows. Lush green grasses flourish in the spring, while brilliantly hued trees shed there leaves in the fall. The summers are delightful, as the sun clearly streams through. The winters are lovely as well, for the sun glints beautifully off the crystalline snow drifts. During the events of sunrise and sunset, the meadows are surrounded in a thick blanket of fog, hence their name. Because of the fog blanket, the meadows are not the greatest places for sunrise and sunset watches unless you go to higher ground, above the fog. The creatures often visit this haven-like setting for peace and quiet. Though it can seem heavenly, the eerie quiet is constant, making some creatures more weary than others.
Not to far from the Ever-Fall Field lys the Willow Swamp. The mighty willow stands in the middle of the marsh, looming above the reeds and ferns. The sky above it seems to always be tainted by large, storm clouds. No one is sure that the lands started out as marshes, but that it rained too much and the swamp is the result. The muddy earth sucks at your stomach fur and grasps at your sinking legs. So watch your step! Strange creatures haunt the dark here, making even the most brave wolves jump in fright. During winter it is said that a great migration of the inhabitants of Willow Swamp occurs. But once spring swings around you wouldn't recognize it. It is a favorite spot for young pups to dare other pups to stay a night in. Almost everyone chickens out, which leaves some secrets untold. It is best that way.
Where the sun catches Eversong Woods they hold a beauty that can only be seen in the glory of the surrounding trees. In this sun lit grove a small river runs through the winding trees, granting life to all creatures. Yet where the shadows stretch out their fingers the darker creatures of the land find their solitude. Caves and traveling pines hold security and comfort for these darker creatures of the night. Beautiful yet deadly at the same time, these woodlands hold secrets that none but the bravest of warriors could hope to undercover.
Wow. Those will be the first words when a creature walks into this beautiful stream. Crystal Stream's water is so blue it is unbelievable. Up on a rocky wall is a streaming waterfall. The top of it covered by bushes and trees. And smooth boulders are planted on the floor. Making the water ease into the stream that is so calm below. A few trees stretch up out in the shallow parts of the water. Again, what a beautiful place indeed.
Ever-Fall Field is where the beautiful colors of autmn never leave. Even in the heat of summer and the bitter frosts of winter the leaves here remain their beautiful rainbow of oranges, purples and browns. Here the young wolves play, romping through the leaves of previous seasons and the old wolves sit and watch and think. If one were to dig through the loam into the dirt a secret lies buried. Many wolves once died here, for a reason nobody knows. Their bones rest in the earth. Some say their spirits will haunt this place if ever the leaves were to be shed.
Midnight Beach is located outside of all three packs. Easy to get to for all. The sands are not the lovely frosted color as most sands are. But an onyx touch instead. The water is a vibrant navy. Everything is in a dark feature at this beach. Yet, in its own special way it is more beautiful than any other rouge land.
Moonlit Mountain grew out of very mystical land. These mountains are the most popular territory for most wolfs to come. Its mountains are tipped with snow. And trees lushly fill the sides of the mountain. Trails switchback all along the mountain. And hidden rivers and water falls flow with freshly melted snow. All wolfs can hear the rumble of these falls and rivers a mile away. Always liquids running down the sides of these walls.
Ahhh... yes. The famous Battle Field Creatures come upon these dark lands in high hopes of to over throw another beast from his or her position. It is no wasteland, this territory is lush with blades of grass. However, the emerald color is stained with blood. Rolling hills have a different story to tell each time. Sometimes bones are found and limbs scattered across the lands.
