Rank and File The Supreme Commanders-- Generalissimus-- Highest military rank - and commanding rank - of The Order of the Black Stag, adopted by the acting chief as a rank of absolute power and order. The Generalissimus could stop his army on a dime with a flick of his muzzle if he so chooses, and has the power of dominion over all under his ranks and baring the mark of His Order. The Generalissmus may ally himself to superior and inferior forces to better the ranks of his own rule, and is charged with upholding the Creed of the Purist's Manifesto. He is leader, lord and commander-in-chief. The Generalissimus also holds joint leadership of the Spetsnaz special forces with the Field Marshall
Field Marshall She is the first lady to the Generalissimus, and usually a powerful and skilled tactician and warrior, chosen for her purity and strength as a whole to carry on the bloodlines of The Order as well as be a face of inspiration and beauty to the cause. She holds the most power in the pack just below the Generalissimus himself, and just above the Lieutenant. She and the Generalissimus have joint rule of the Spetsnaz special forces
Heirs-- First and foremost they are the children of the Generalissimus and Field Marshall, secondly children of his Generale's previous relations (as long as they are pure), and thirdly - if all other are not present - a pup adopted under the wing of leadership. The heirs to the pack, if more then one exist, must fight one another in non-lethal combat in order to decide who is the rightful successor to the Cause. _____________________________________________
The Supreme Officers--
Lieutenant General-- An esteemed and trusted wolf to the Generalissimus who acts as a second-in-command and a powerful voice of opinion to the leaders. The Lieutenant may only be male, and is always a creature of great fitness and power. When a Generalissimus passes on or must depart for a pre-determined amount of time and there is no heir to take his place the Lieutenant will take up his mantle of power, even claiming the Field Marshall as his own.
Major General-- A she-wolf that is esteemed and trusted by the Generalissimus and Field Marshall. They are a source of "second-in-command" but are truly lesser in rank then even their male counterpart. The Major General must be a sly tactician and there must be some level of partnership between themselves and the Lieutenant General, as they take joint command of the knight's class of Cossak.
Brigadier-- Ranked above the regular members as a senior commander, but below the Lieutenant and Major Generals, the Brigadier has command of the Dragoons. He is usually a wolf with trustworthy advice on his tongue, and though he and the rank of Polkovnik do not share a force, they are usually either an integral male x female pair or mates.
Polkovnik-- Very little is known about this command rank except that she holds sway over the Hajduk. They are the specialized spy-force that have been known to spy on their own as well as as the enemies. The Polkovnik, though many ranks below some in the commander tier, is given express permission to only have to report to the Generalissimus when she feels the need to. She does not need to answer to anyone else if she thinks the information she carries is not for their eyes. She is usually highly trusted for her word and her advice, alongside the Brigadier, as both usually have more of a line of communications with the members of the pack.
Rittmeister-- Is also known as a drill-sergeant, training the next generation of warriors as well as suitable wolves who do not have enough training know-how. Also takes singular command of the Hussar border patrol. They are wolves who mainly stay around the edges of the pack and are the home-defense against a military attack upon their own soil. A Rittmeister may take a mate from the lower ranks. This is one of the rare commander ranks that can be held by a male OR female.
_____________________________________________
The Knights of the Order--
Spetsnaz-- The special forces, a supreme weapon against other wolves. They are the smartest and strongest of warriors, hand chosen by Dragunov and Zurian themselves as not only a reliable guard force for the pair but the wolves sent into the fray of a battle when things seem to be lost. They are hurricanes of power and intelligence, even said to be equipped with physical weapons constructed by the wiles of a creature in their ranks known as "The Blacksmith" who is said to create phantasmal tools of destruction from otherwise unseeming things. Beware when you hear the call for the Spetsnaz, for your death will be imminent.
Cossak-- Are the main ground/battle forces, always first to the fray so seeing battle is almost a given. They roam about their territories and other territories on Traum, spreading the word of The Order and subjecting others to the virtues of their Cause: be it taking another's life for refusing their ways, recruiting wolves, or disposing of a halfbreed. They usually make up the majority of warrior wolves in the pack and need to be powerful and capable in battle and solid of mind. They are commanded by the Lieutenant and Major General
Dragoon-- Usually the newest warriors to the pack, though somewhat capable fighters they do not carry the prestige of the knight's ranks above them. They can be used for any old odd job, as well as being sent into battle but needless to say they are not last resort. Dragoons are usually the less loud and proud voices when it comes to outside the Sanctum patrols, where they spend most of their time, keeping the presence of The Order in everyone's minds. This does not mean they are not able-bodied warriors.
Hajduk-- A secretive specialty force known for their stealth and ability not to be seen. Though knights their main expertise is spying, and lets just say they don't keep their eyes on only the enemies. Hajduk have been known to report of disturbances and coos among their own ranks. Such wolves who are causing trouble usually disappear in the depths of the night when no one is looking. Hajduk do not always announce themselves, and usually it is hard to tell who is and isn't one, so one must always watch what they are doing. Commanded by the Polkovnik.
Hussar-- Border patrol and main defense against an in-home direct territory attack. They are usually the largest, most imposing wolves one would ever see, and are brutal in their duties of defending the lands as well as the Cause. Hussar and Spetsnaz are the only knight class wolves allowed to carry any sort of weapon, used again as an imposing device against any would-be raiders. They are under the command of the Rittmeister.
_____________________________________________
Non-Combatants--
Private 1st Class-- Can be one of two things: A grown wolf who has just joined and has been deemed not ready quite yet for knighthood, or a pup (who start as yearlings) who needs to be trained for placement in knighthood. These wolves are taught and shaped strenuously by the Rittmeister to become apex warriors before they are placed into their respective lines of knighthood.
Private 2nd Class-- An adult wolf who is unable to partake in physical combat for any reason. It is not a highly held rank amongst this warrior-class group, but still respected as these are mainly special cases. They may have varying jobs, from helping clean battlefields of corpses, or just helping out around the pack with whatever they can. They are like a "general" member though there are not many.
Advisor-- A member called upon to be of great help to the Commanding Officers - even the Generalissimus - in the sense of both battle and keeping up in the public eye. He or she is a political advisor, and their word is always greatly regarded before most decisions are made.
Chief Medic-- The most skilled, trusted medical officer. Must be highly trained in all things that detail healing, therapy, and sometimes even spiritual healing if the need is called for. They command the Medical Officers on and off the battle-field. It is often the Chief medic's job to personally look after the health of the Commanders and Officers.
Medical Officers-- Wolves highly trained in the art of healing and mending the most horrendous of wounds, tears, breaks and abrasions. These guys are the best of the best at what they do and their is no mucking around with their abilities. Some remain at home, but in war-times they are sent out to the battle-field to attend to injuries.
_____________________________________________
The Risen and the Fallen--
Pups-- Youth of the pack who have not grown old enough to take a knight's status rank in the pack. They are the young of any other mated pair in The Order besides the Generalissimus and the Field Marshall. If weakness is exhibited or if the pups appear to be of a mix-breed status they will be immediately disposed of, and their parents usually put to death.
Elders-- Those who have grown unable to continue the battle. Though not looked down upon they are not revered in the same sense that most elders in pack-life are. Only former commanding officers and great warriors may take up any sort of council in the pack. Often times the Advisor is a retired military wolf (Elder).
Disgraced-- You have been seen as a disgrace and a danger to your pack through some mistaken action or something you full-well meant to do. As a disgraced wolf you have but one chance to prove your worth to the leaders lest you are cast into Gulag. And not many make it out of Gulag, believe me you.
_____________________________________________
Gulag--
The Guardian-- A huge, shady and unforgiving wolf put in charge in keeping a watchful eye over the prisoners kept within The Sanctum. Many of the are P.O.W.'s or (Prisoners of War), but some are unruly members from his own ranks. Many horrors await a wolf in Gulag and besides some occasional requests from the higher ups, it is mainly up to him what to do with such prisoners. Only the Generalissimus or Commanding Wolf may call for the death of a prisoner.
The Hangman-- Though the Guardian himself may be a cruel wolf, he is nothing in comparison to the sickly, stony mind of the Hangman, who's soul job in The Order is to torture wolves for information, and ultimately execute most of them. When a prisoner is to be interrogated, The Hangman always get the job done and always get what they need. If you don't co-operate, you might find yourself dead...Or worse, put to the strange tools that the Blacksmith lovingly creates. Only a ruthless soul with no compassion or remorse may claim this rank.
The Blacksmith-- Is an arms dealer and creator of sorts, specializing in very basicly created weaponry (which can do a lot for a wolf) such as sharpened sticks, antler blades and even some funky little trinkets out of melted down rocks and minerals. They even create slave collars, and sometimes little things for the female wolves of the pack. He is equipped with a small forge in a secluded part of the territory and some small tools some say were left in the unknown parts of Traum by humans. Normally keeps to themselves except when being asked to fill out some request from The Order, The Blacksmith must be a wolf extremely talented in intricate details, knowledgeable about fires and metals and a very earthy being.
Prisoners of War (P.O.W.)-- Most usually they are wolves collected from opposing forces who have become prisoners, usually to be interrogated or used a slave of sorts. For the most part many are executed. Sometimes a wolf within The Order can become a prisoner, be it for unruly behaviors or a treason of some sort (insubordination is not taken lightly amongst The Order). If you are a prisoner, your fate is almost most certainly clear, subject to torture or hard labor, and ultimately on the list to be killed if you do not conform to their ways.

______________________________________________________ ----From Humble Beginnings an Empire Sprang When the frail and crumbling force of the Warrior's Realm inevitably fell into ruin another great empire rose up in its place to rightfully lay claim to the welfare of this Isle. The Order of the Black Stag was co-founded by the visionary Russian, Dragunov Solokov, and a noble knight, Zero, both who shared a vision of a pure, intelligent race of wolves who would rise into the darkness, under the light of the radiant Mother Moon to cleanse first the Isle and then the world. For in their eyes they saw the sickness, brother fighting brother, wolves mingling with the weaker of status and breed. The blood of the unworthy has sped on through the generations due to the fat, slothful behavior spawned by this protective utopia.
The Order fights for the holy belief that only the strongest are meant to survive in this harsh and unforgiving world. The weak and unclean here are allowed to live, against the law of Mother Nature herself, taking the food out of the mouths of purest and most worthy, taking the beds of the rightful walkers of the earth in this horrendous system of greed and laziness. They must be systematically destroyed and abolished in order to follow the ways of the balance.
This is our covenant between ourselves as knights and Mother Moon. Virtues of a Knight of the Order: - Purity
- Strength
- Honor
- Determination
- Power
- Intelligence
- Clarity
- Trust
As a Knight, My Vows Are: - To live by our creed, in body and mind
- To rid the World of it's sickness
- To fight only for his liege, the Generalissimus
- To judge the weak and deem them worthy or either life or death
- To maintain purity in thyself and they surroundings
- To obey those in place of authority
- To impose control of the weak of soul and mind
- To cleanse through chaos
- To respect and honor all in The Order: Whelp, b!tch or elder.
- To at all times speak the truth
- Never refuse a challenge
- Never turn your back on an enemy
- Never let a half breed live
_______________________________________________ ----No Pack; No Family; Only the Strongest We are a well-oiled military based force charged with the upkeep of the natural order of not only this island but the world around us as well. It is the golden law of Mother Nature: " Only the strong may survive in order to pass on their essence to generations to come." Nature has no rightful place in it for weakness. It muddles our future and makes the title of Wolf as thin and meaningless as the blood in dirty veins. There is no place for overly serious ties, we are a league of wolves working together towards the goal of purity. Listen to your chain of command, respect your virtues, save Wolfkind. ----No Half-Breeds must be Left Alive A wolf is no longer a wolf when his blood is tarnished by one of the lesser breeds of canines. No wolf with mixed-blood heritage: coyote, fox, dog, etc. may be allowed to join into the ranks of the Order. This is the most serious case of impurity and genetic structural weakness, and no matter what - young or old - any half-breed encountered is to be immediately eliminated.
----Bear the Mark? Brother for Life When you join the Order you are forever marked with the scarification image of a Triskel emblazoned on the left side of your chest. This is to signify your dedication and worthiness to the cause, a pledge that will forever be a comrade of the Order. You wear this symbol like a badge of pride and honor for it tells every wolf and lesser creature who you are.
----To Trespass is to Resign Yourself to Death If a wolf is to trespass into the Sanctum of The Order, they forfeit their lives over to a fate at the hands of our knights. Unless you have express permission of an officer wolf (via RP) or have made an agreement with a member owning a high ranking wolf in the pack, your character can and will be killed without permission or warning. Any wolf who chooses to tempt fate by being disrespectful or intentionally wandering in for a laugh will be the most seriously dealt with. This is an important rule, so please make a note of this one, I would hate for any unneeded deaths, but have no remorse whatsoever in carrying them out.
You've seen the warning. You choose your fate. If you have a problem with it, take it up with the board of staff.
----Rules of an Officer The job of the Officers of The Order is to represent their force and thus only wolves displaying the most appropriate qualities of strength, honor, nobility and dignity are allowed into these hallowed mantles of power. There are a couple small rules for members who are under the operation of a wolf of the officer class.
Officers Include-
- Field Marshall
- Lieutenant General
- Lieutenant Major
- Brigadier
- Polkovnik
- Rittmeister /
1) All wolves upholding these ranks have the express ability to accept potential wolves into the ranks of the pack. Any wolf accepted can be contested and cross examined by another officer if they imagine the wolf is not deemed fit for the pack.
2) When accepting a new member make sure you look for the attributes and requirements listed in the manifesto above. [Also to the players; Please keep accepting threads prompt with your replies and brief (unless a plot is included in the joining thread).]
3) If you meet a wolf within the borders of any territory owned by The Order who is not affiliated with The Order and does not comply with your wishes you may dispatch or severely maim them in any way you deem fit. {This rule applies for all members as it matter and is a civic duty of every wolf protecting our rights.}
4) Enforce loyalty and strength amongst the knights and other wolves of the pack, especially those under your direct command. If you come across insubordination you may punish it as you see fit, or report it up the chain of command.
