This was my first few steps on this new land, and I could already tell that I was out of my element. The place reeked with wolves, but I didn't mind I just wanted to meet others. I had left my home a while ago, and have been alone ever since, and it was hard not having anyone to talk to or share my feeling with. That was probably the reason why I had ended up coming to this place, it had a small fraction of a familiar scent, those of my own kind. It looked like it was late fall around these parts, the reds, yellows, and oranges that probably filled the trees only a few weeks ago. But now the leaves were scattered on the ground, moving only when the light wind picked them up and moved then into another location. It was early, and the sun was peaking up over the horizon, sharing its light with the world. I lowered my head to the ground nuzzling the earth picking up the scents of wolves that had past by recently, curious to follow the scents. But something was holding me back, this place was so beautiful I simply could not move on. I had to stay, and wait for whatever my scenes knew was coming. [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,400,true] | [atrb=background,http://i899.photobucket.com/albums/ac192/fireb4ashes/Murdoc---MIDDLE.png] Fall light cast out upon the land, mottling it in hues of grandeur, golds and silvers, royal reds and purples everywhere. The visuals were pleasure, and they seeped into gazing eyes with a soothing calmness... And perhaps it was the calmness that made him antsy. Teeth seemed to grind together in the back of the creature's jaw, causing an audible creaking inside of his skull which resonated in those... my what big ears you have. It was oddly warm for this time of the year, a pleasant heat-spell mid Autumn which surprised and shocked the smaller creatures, who - had been previously getting ready to settle down for a long Winter's sleep - were up and about, ass backwards as they continued to collect the dwindling supplies of food. The Doc watched as a a tuft-eared red squirrel went bounding up a nearby trunk and into it's naked bows, chattering amiably, as a confused and resurrected bumblebee brushed lazily passed his ear in the pursuit of flowers that no longer existed.
The only thing Doc saw popping up sporadically were the resilient golden weeds, dandelions. They grew in thick clumps, choking out the ground around them. The Doc, a canine though not a wolf, was an African Painted Dog, a smallish, thin creature with huge rounded ears and a mottled coat. He seemed patchy, like a walking map, consisting of tans, whites, browns and blacks. Said body, lay lounged in an unusual spot in the crotch of a twin-trunked tree which rose up and either side of him like a knobbed slingshot. Doc had one light-colored paw draped over the other, his pose leisurely.
"I ain't nothin' to fuck with, nothin' to fuck with," he hummed underneath his breath, thrumming out a beat in the back of his throat for something to do. Soon the sounds fleshed themselves out into a series of hics, clicks, snaps, whirs, buzzes and and whistles. Murdoc was in fact a rather talented articulator of sounds, it was in his blood and his species' wide array of vocal capabilities, so beatboxing came as a second nature to him. It was very akin to breathing. "Ricka ricka ri-..."
He paused, pulling short and raised his brow. The sound of pawsteps became evident as he hunkered his body down against the trunk and let his gaze wander up along the path to the culprit of the sounds. She soon came into view, and Doc could hardly believe his eyes, she was..was one of him, an Painted Dog all the same. Excitement rushed through his being and that inquisatively brash nature got hold of him, causing him to leap before he looked. In no time he had decended from the crotch of the tree, landing nimbly and began to make his way towards the path. He wasted no time in making his presence most noisily known, opening his mouth and so boldly calling out. "Ahoy there, Missy!"
He came galloping forward, uncaring of how menacing he might seem. He was an AWD though, void of all that menacing bulkiness and instead he seemed like a blur of many colors, coming around to circle the female, tail flapping and wagging in exhileration. "Hellooo there!"

A scent filled my nose that was amazingly familiar, it was someone just like me a African Wild Dog. My first few steps on this land, and I happen to meet just what I was looking for, my own kind. My luck was seeming to turn. I continued walking down the weathered dirt path, nose stuck to the ground trying to sniff out then scent. My ear flicked at a sound of paws hitting the ground. Then a voice was calling behind me. "Ahoy there, Missy!" I didn't turn around I only continued walking like I had not heard the stranger. My tail flicked with anticipation, this was what I came here for meeting new wolves and/or African Wild Dogs. The foot steps grew quicker and then all of the sudden a male of my kind was circling around me, his tail was wiggling to and fro at a tremendous pace. "Hellooo there!" My eyes followed him, I became dizzy though, and he continued his circle dace like around me. "Hello." The simple word escaped my maw. He was patched with the same colors as I, my clear green eyes looked him over wondering what made him come up to me. "Who are you?" I blurted out. I almost introduced myself, be then recoiled. I wondered what he had to say, so that overcame my need to be in control of the conversation. [/size][/color][/blockquote][/td][/tr][tr][td] [/td][/tr][/table]

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,400,true] | [atrb=background,http://i899.photobucket.com/albums/ac192/fireb4ashes/Murdoc---MIDDLE.png] As The Doc approached he almost immediately expected the reaction he received, for as the female spotted him, her eyes grew wide and she seemed to shrink in size, recoiling away from the rambunctious young male. This was far from discouraging though, in fact it highly encouraged him. He skipped in much closer to her, coming just a few inches away from her nose before he swept away again, a creature of great agility which he exercised with precision. Oh yes, Doc could turn on a dime, perform a counter-clockwise spin and then go off running headlong, and indeed he did. The Wild Dog disappeared in a cloud of dirt for a few moments then came barrelling back through it, coating himself in the gritty stuff. Finally done with cavorting about like the jolly old idiot he was, putting on a show, Murdoc threw on the brakes and threw his rump up into the air. He waggled it about.
"Hello indeed, shawty," quipped Doc with a grin. She was gazing at him as though he had suddenly sprouted seven extra heads. He could dig it.
"Who are you?"
"Ya'd like to know, wouldn't ya? How about we play a game of twenty questions and if you can't guess my name after that...then maybe I'll consider telling you?" He twisted his head to the side now and licked his lips a little. The tip of his tail twitched in a gentle wag. He was not a nasty wolf, yet he was not all that easy to get along with either. Many found him to be a tad taxing in his personal ways. Here he just saw a good chance to get to know a pretty-eyed doe without so much as batting an eyelash at her..Or so he hoped. His play-bow bent even more dramatically now as his front paws skipped on the dirt, inviting her to chase him.
"But other then that... I'm just a dude." He paused and seemed to think, then nodded his head and confirmed. "Yeah, just a dude."
That was Doc to a cue, about as sweet as a stone, and as blunt an object as most of the wolves that had chosen to make their keep in the Lucifer's Family. Not the brightest bunch they were, but they offered a refuge of giants for slimmer, more vulnerable fellows such as himself. In fact they had granted him the special rank of a scholar of sorts, a script who was to take down the history of the Lucifer's family and recite it for all. Talking! Ha! What better a profession for he?

"Hello indeed, shawty." Shawty? I almost laughed out loud but then controlled myself in an effort to make friends here in this new island. "Now I'm not that short Mister..." I new that I was much smaller then he was but I disliked being called short. He seemed to notice that I had been skimming my eyes over his body. But I didn't really care though I wanted him to know that I was interested in him. And he had an oddness about him that I couldn't quite figure out which made me want to find out more about him on a personal level. "Ya'd like to know, wouldn't ya? How about we play a game of twenty questions and if you can't guess my name after that...then maybe I'll consider telling you?" "A game?" I was curious to see where this game would go. I wasn't even sure how to start this twenty question game. "What letter does it start with?" Hmmm that seemed like that was a good beginning place. My tail hung behind my curvy rump with a slight wag to it. Waiting for his response. He then seemed to be play bowing to me, and suddenly took of running in the other direction. It amazed me how fast he could change direction. But it looked like he wanted me to follow him. So I took off behind him, my feminine long legs were gliding over the earth as fast as they could go. I did get pretty close, I even tried to nibble on the back of his heels as we ran together. "But other then that... I'm just a dude. Yeah just a dude" I wondered what he meant by that... But I did intend to find out and fast. [/size][/color][/blockquote][/td][/tr][tr][td] [/td][/tr][/table]

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,400,true] | [atrb=background,http://i899.photobucket.com/albums/ac192/fireb4ashes/Murdoc---MIDDLE.png] Much to the young man's pleasure she skipped off after him, breathlessly exclaiming that she was not all that short, causing Murdoc to giggle gently as he ran. Like him, she was fast, and she caught up easily, almost nipping at his heels as he twisted and turned and spun to avoid her advances, laughing all the while. After that second short burst he came to a halt and spun around again so he was now facing her, eyes wide and inviting as his spade-like tongue dangled comically from the hinge of his jaws.
" Nah shawty, a shawty is a fine ass lady friend. A pretty little boo, in other terms." Doc nodded resolutely, as if this were the one identifiable truth in the world. Even if she looked at him oddly, he would drink it in gratefully, for it was that expression of weirdness that fed the inner fires of who he was. It was what he lived for really. Back to the question she asked, curious of his name and curious about him. She seemed to like his forward yet slow approach. Murdoc poked his tongue out from between his tiny clenched white fangs. "Well mostly it starts with an M..sometimes a D...sometimes even a T!" He narrowed one eye cruelly at her before leaping forward with it. "Now my turn! What's your favorite present to get?"
It seemed such a silly, trivial thing to ask and yet The Doc was having all too much fun with the whole experience. He was in his element of fool and play, raising brows as he gave the impression that he was half loony and probably to be avoided. And yet most seemed compelled in by his sheer handful of a personality, too magnetized to lose interest. And even if they did, it wasn't like he wasn't going to pursue them ragged afterwards and make sure they got their full share of The Doc's love before he darted off into the nothingness and was gone. Here he was presented with the golden opportunity, oh joyous day, of experiencing another of his kind.
Suddenly he darted off the path and up the slightly askew trunk of a tree that leaned down and out over the trails, presenting a prefect overhang on which Doc could easily scale. His white-tipped tail whipped back and forth like a paint brush on the end of a rope.
"I have so many more questions to ask you though. More then twenty could ever cover."

He was facing me now, I wondered what he would do next. He seemed extremely unpredictable which made me on edge, I enjoyed when I could tell what would happen next. " Nah shawty, a shawty is a fine ass lady friend. A pretty little boo, in other terms Fine ass lady friend? I laughed quietly to myself not even my mother had called me pretty. I wasn't sure if he was telling me the truth or he just had other intentions on his mind. When I had asked about his name his response confused me even more, how would I ever guess what his name was now? I thought hard about it thinking of all the other names that it could be now. "Can you just tell me you name?" I asked sweetly before lowering the front half of my body, rear and tail high in the air wiggling my rump. I my mouth was open barking at him to run so that I could chase after him once more. "Now my turn! What's your favorite present to get?"I laughed for the fact I had never gotten a present. "I would enjoy any present that I was given." I said with a sly grin His tail was wagging to and fro, and I hoped that was because he was happy. As I moved a little closer to him he said. "I have so many more questions to ask you though. More then twenty could ever cover." I had to give him that he made me laugh on more then one occasion. I giggled looking at the ground when he looked at me. "Well then lets no longer play this game so that you may ask me all the questions you would like." I said licking my lips slowly. [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,400,true] | [atrb=background,http://i899.photobucket.com/albums/ac192/fireb4ashes/Murdoc---MIDDLE.png] As the other kept her eyes peeled, both of their chests heaving from the momentary burst of exertion they had both expended, Murdoc kept feeling the need to move. And so he did, he simply could not keep still. As soon as he had occupied a space for longer then a few seconds he began to sway and then moved to the side, or maybe forward..back. At one occasion he even spun around in a complete circle once. He was a mottled blur of energy and it was half his nature and half the presence of the fresh young lady before him. Someone to show off to, it was all he needed since his encounter with Kirill had left him so wound up, asking so many questions about himself, his new home and the job he had been instilled. That could wait until later though, finally there was someone of his familiar blood he could be around for the time being. The female twisted her spotted rump up into the air, her lithe body moving back and forth in anticipation as she barked.
"Can you just tell me you name?"
Doc pursed his lips and narrowed his eyes, as if the question caused him great distress in thought. But then he broke into a sudden smile, lapping his tongue across his slightly dried lips. "Welllll.... It would be breaking my rules, but just for you, ah why not. I'll crack. My name is Murdoc, but most just call me The Doc."
When she professed to liking any present she was given, Doc rolled his eyes a tiny bit, his bottle-brush banner almost pausing mid swing for a moment. Well that was just too easy. "Alright, I'll keep that in mind," he said.
She seemed to amped up, ready to play, not that he could blame her, this was an oddly exhilarating encounter, one he had never expected when he had set out from his packlands in the wastelands of the Lucifer's Family. How fortunate, nay miraculous, was it that the first beast he had encountered since the monstrosity that was Kirill the Russian wolf, was one of his own flesh and blood. It just felt good I guess, in all of the right ways. He needed to get down to the bottom of this and stop beating around the bush, then they could get to the game of sexy hide and go seek and play 'til their heart's content.
"Well then lets no longer play this game so that you may ask me all the questions you would like."
Murdoc nodded slowly, liking the idea. It was hardly in his nature but why not cut to the chase? No use in driving this lovely piece of tail away when they could expand upon this encounter and even bond a little. Time to stow away his obnoxious old self for a little while... Or at least as long as he possibly could manage.
"I can dig that, yaw. Let's start with this one then: what exactly is your name, or can I just keep callin' you beautiful?"

My ebony lips curled upwards into a half smile as the male in front of me was jumping and swaying all over the place. My green irises could hardly keep up with him. His excitement however made my tale sway even faster behind me, and now my large dome like ears were twitching in every direction. If was as if his movement was contagious much like a yawn. But I couldn't believe that there was another African Wild Dog on this island, my luck seemed to be turning for the better. I let my pupils skim over his thin body and patch work fur, I couldn't help myself by licking the edge of by charcoal lips. "Welllll.... It would be breaking my rules, but just for you, ah why not. I'll crack. My name is Murdoc, but most just call me The Doc." I laughed openly, unable to hide my smile. "I'm glad you broke your rule. And would you mind if I called you Murdoc, I like that name." His name seemed to roll off my tongue with ease. I wasn't into nick name, pet names I adored but nick names not so much. I moved my extremely feminine body closer to him, circling him slowly, our painted furs almost touching. "I can dig that, yaw. Let's start with this one then: what exactly is your name, or can I just keep callin' you beautiful?" I paused looking into his eyes as he spoke, and then giggled at the last word. I wanted to toy with him a little. "Beautiful is fine, but my name is Neema." His scent was intoxicating around me it was wonderfully decedent. Something I would never be able to get enough of. I scampered away from him, wondering and hoping that he would follow. I wanted to find a place were we could talk or whatever may happen. But being out in the open like this made me a bit nervous. "Shall we find somewhere a little more private, so continue our conversation?" I said turning my little head back to look at him, swaying my head in a come with me motion. I enjoyed that he was always moving, it meant that I wouldn't get bored with him for a while. And I did wonder what he had planed for next.
