She was looking for someone to talk to. She wished to join Warriors, but she wanted to know people too. Her lack of company over the past few years had made her a shy little thing. And her size, often used against her, did not really help matters.
The lush greens and soft aquamarines that caressed her eyes in such awe-inspiring beauty took her mind away from the task at hand, there she stood, immobile and taken aback at all of the sudden, unexpected beauty. She had come from cold and unbearable wastelands. Ugly and unwelcoming, to this. A deep breath took in many scents, but left many untouched as she exhaled, her shoulders dropping and her once tense posture now relaxed it was almost as though she had forgotten that there were pack wolves here, ones that may not be very welcoming to a wolf who was looking to join, but had not yet been accepted.
She shook herself out of her spacing stupor and continued to pad along, but was still slightly out there, still trying to take everything in at once, and failing. Her ears flickered, catching noises of the various creatures around, and the sound of water. Her eyes were still assaulted by the beauty of the place. Yes, she was glad she had chosen this as her hopeful home. It seemed as though she could belong here. So distracted as she was, she tripped, rolling over her tiny body as her feet hit a rock or root of some sort and she rolled for a ways before stopping in a heap of light grey fur, laying there dizzy and panting, not really bothering to stand.

The beauty of this place, it was almost paramount to the gorgeousness of the former lands of the Warrior's and with that Wintersleep felt a kind of peace here. So much like home, but not quite. He had fled there long ago at the fangs of his father and his sister as they hissed words like: 'You are no son of mine!' and 'Nobility will be your downfall, brother.' And oh how he pined to see his sister again, to try and convince her of the negative aspects of her ways, though he knew such a thing would be impossible. Twilight Heaven Solokov had chosen to take a different path in life from him, but it had never stopped him from trying: trying to find his mother, the warriors and Lakota. The only thing that had weighed so heavily on his heart since he left was the feeling of loneliness. Though Sleep had met many wolves on his travels he had yet to find many of his age and caliber that he could converse and speak with. His youth, filled with the training of a true warrior, had robbed him of anything close to a real childhood.
He had been wandering along the water, always a place of calm and refuge when a sound so familiar yet peculiar came upon his ears and the young warrior was suddenly very alert. The sound of a creature in distress. His ears turned sharply backwards and his body soon followed, a sinuous mixture of multi-hued yet pale fur and a pair of mismatched eyes. One was red, the color of the hellish fires below his paws, while the other was light and icy blue, representing the heavens above him. Wintersleep was on the move then, his body like a powerful arrow, and his aim so very true as every pawstep found perfect purchase. Indeed he had studied this land since he had first arrived here and was blessed with the appearance of his long lost mother.
It did not take long for his keen eyes to detect the felled form of a wolf near the edges of the water. She lay very still, alerting him to the possibilities of something worse, an attack or a sickness of some sort, and this put Sleep into a wary mode indeed. His pace started to slow as he came close, changing to a bit of a trot and then a gentle walk as he took in all around him, trying to assess the situation at hand. Sleep swallowed a little and centered himself before he made the decision to speak.
"Ma'am? Hello are you alright?"

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,400,true] | [atrb=background,http://i899.photobucket.com/albums/ac192/fireb4ashes/Misa---MIDDLE.png] She heard the sounds of paws hitting the sand, and she still did not react. She stayed out in her own little world of beauty. She had lay down, resting her head on her paws and staying still, just trying to take it all in, and keeping in mind the immeasurable hope that this would be her home soon enough.
She breathed, yes, but the breaths were small, deep enough to keep her from passing out, but small as she drifted further and further, more deeply into the beauty of this place. If this was only one part of Traum, imagine what the rest must look like! If she had been more alert, an excited noise would have been silenced, but it slipped out all the same. Perhaps, it would sound strange to some, but her soprano vocals were just that way. There was no controlling it. She was about as feminine as one could muster, well. Not quite. She had quite the temper about her, but she rarely let that show.
Her multi-coloured, pale fur was ruffled even more in the wind, giving it a tried look, but she ignored that too. Just about anything would be ignored, except for maybe a threat by another animal, or the company of a wolf. And yet, she seemingly had ignored that too, what with hearing the footsteps and all. But of course, she did not know that those belonged to a wolf.
She was a good tracker, but only when focused. Focus was necessary, and this was one of the times, dangerous though it may be, that she did not have that focus. But she felt no need to be worried of any present danger. Nothing had happened and she doubted that anything would. She felt extraordinarily safe here, which was an alien thing to her. But good...definitely good. Safety was the main thing that she had been searching for. Of course, she was unaware of some of the threats that currently lurked around any and every corner on Traum, such as the Order and their Rouge rebels, but that was for another time. Now was a time for peace.
Then, "Ma'am? Hello are you alright?" Well, so much for that peace. Misa was startled out of her reverie by Wintersleep's cautious question. She could tell that he was wary by looking at his face. He must have thought that she was trying to remain unnoticed, or at least trying to get him close enough to attack. Silly, but she could not expect anything less. It was alright. She would explain her purpose here. "Oh!" She exclaimed, rather surprised, "I am sorry, I did not mean to cause any alarm. I am fine."
She offered him a slight, shy smile and dipped her head, "My name is Misa. I was looking to join Warriors, but I am afraid that Serena has not told me of my position or anything otherwise. I just wanted a look around quick, before I am accepted...or rejected, for that matter. It really is a gorgeous place." She began to ramble, not wanting to sound stupid, not really sure what to say. She began to mentally smack herself. It seems that she was unsure how to react to society after so long as a rouge wolf. That is what not having a family did to you. Drove you to the brink of incompetency. She snorted irritably at herself and shook her head, then turned to look back at Wintersleep.

She did not move right away, much to the young male's apparent surprise. Instead she seemed to move with a kind of relished leisure, something Wintersleep was very unused to in his busy days. He took very little time out of his busy schedule just to stop and smell the roses, so to see a wolf so much more relaxed in such times of war was both confusing and a tad aggravating to him. Eventually though she lifted her head, she was a pretty enough thing, and gazed with eyes like piercing oceans. Ultimately she seemed surprised to see him though, unexpectant as he was. The female turned her pretty head to the side and exclaimed to his words which reached out to simply help her out.
"Oh! I am sorry, I did not mean to cause any alarm. I am fine."
He turned his head as well now, almost mirroring her movement, as if mulling over this information introspectively. Well that was most certainly a good sign, at least she was fine and she seemed quite calm enough, most certainly not a threat as of now. Those impressive muscles began to fold and relax beneath his fur but he still did not let down his guard. The realm of the Warrior's was well-gaurded and well-loved, there was no chance the enemy would be getting into here.
Wintersleep lowered his muzzle a bit so he was at more of an eye-level with the gorgeous she-wolf, giving a ghost of a smile. "Well that's good then... But who are you... Ma'am?"
And she answered quite easily enough, the words rolling off her tongue with the same innocence that Wintersleep found had drawn him to Lakota. Oh Lakota, the very thought of her wrenched at his heart... his duty.
"My name is Misa. I was looking to join Warriors, but I am afraid that Serena has not told me of my position or anything otherwise. I just wanted a look around quick, before I am accepted...or rejected, for that matter. It really is a gorgeous place."
Sleep nodded attentively as she spoke, making sure it was apparent she was there and listening to every word, as he had found this was an important thing when it came to dealing with she-wolves. They often times very much hated to be ignored and he took a serious note of that, not being very familiar with them in the first place. Sleep was just always afraid of that terrible first impression, of which he always tried to make the best one he could. His pale whiskers twitched thoughtfully. But now that he knew she was a creature seeking Warrior status, well there was something he knew he could work with and his muzzle turned up into more of a smile. It was very much that of his father's constructed into something of his own through time.
"I think it's safe to say that every wolf who wishes to stand beside us is welcome with open arms, Misa. We only reject those who are our enemy, not those who are our friends. Welcome to the lands first and foremost but..but I am curious. What exactly is it you come here seeking? I am the son of Serena, Wintersleep Solokov, it is a pleasure to meet you.. But it is my curiosity now as to what you wish to do for us. Do you seek the fight? Or a calmer life amongst the heart of us?"

His voice was quite catching, an interesting tone to it, one that she had not heard before. Perhaps it was just because she could be considered to have an accent from her own home. She listened to what he said, asking who she was, and she had told him this as he asked, her answers coming quickly and flawlessly. No more bumbling about for her today it seemed, which was all for the best. Without moving her head, she looked him over, handsome, yes. And strong, very strong, she knew that if he decided to reject her hopes of becoming part of the Warriors family, that it would be easy enough. She would be like a feather to him. She shook those thoughts away, he seemed nice enough. Besides, maybe he was someone of higher rank, maybe he knew Serena personally, and maybe that would raise her chances of getting into the pack of her dreams. Little did she know that he was actually the son of Serena himself. She noticed how attentive he was whenever she spoke, nodding here and there, and she was surprised. She did not expect that at all, most males just disregarded what she said, thought her an airhead because she was not hard, or cold. And she did not mind being paid attention to. She had not been unhappy or discontent with being ignored, one grows used to solitude after a while, but all of these things were a nice change, a large change but still a good one. A smile became more apparent after the look of longing that had graced his face for his last few sentences, and hers. She dared not press it though, she did not know the wolf, and intrusion could be taken poorly, and perhaps could even be a hazard to her own well-being. Or a calmer life amongst the heart of us?" Her heart leaped with joy at the sound of his words, anyone who was not an enemy, welcome with open arms. That was true music to her ears. And the son of Serena, none other, could her day get any better? Well, she supposed that the answer could be yes, but she did not yet know the answer to the question. "A pleasure to meet you as well, Wintersleep. As for a position I like, I do not mind. I work well anywhere, as I found out a few years with my brief stay in another pack before I found Traum." She offered him a smile as well, her eyes kind and sparkling with a certain happiness that had not been present there in a long while. As calculating as his bloodline lead him to be, there was a part of him that could not help but be captivated by the simple fact of her gender. In his time with Benjamin - as less then soft spoken half breed - he had learned that the female was a creature to be treated with a kind of respect. Or so his young mind had assumed. Though Wintersleep had seen many a she-wolf, including his mother - take on the mantle of a warrior, there was still that bit of reverence lingering about him. She seemed confident, unwilling to show herself as an unlikely candidate, and in that he found he could respect her. When he had spoken finally there was a flash of something excited in her eyes though, and he was pleased to have said the right thing. In fact it tickled him to no end, and yet he chose to not let it show.
"A pleasure to meet you as well, Wintersleep. As for a position I like, I do not mind. I work well anywhere, as I found out a few years with my brief stay in another pack before I found Traum."
Her pretty voice played through his ears, causing them to jaunt back against his head slightly and then forward again. She even offered him a smile, and the young male felt all the more encouraged to keep up with his job at paw. Mother had been busy of late, keeping up with the reports from the outside world and monitering Traum as we knew it.. It was his job to take up the effort as he could, and despite his obvious worries - he was a young wolf afterall, just cresting on his second year barely - there was a certain element of importance to this that cast aside all the worldly worries he had set up with within himself in order to hinder progress. A smile fell across his features, light up his eyes and muzzle in such a way that it almost seemed dazelling. From his father he had earned such dashing looks.. Though his own kin's was marred by the fashion of battle...He had long heard that his ear had been torn right off. What a damned shame.. and by some wolf he had just previously raped.
How pathetic.
Sleep's eyes took her in, gauging the power that lay in her very slim body. She seemed set for anything in her mind, and yet her slim form spoke another tune. He attempted to lay this aside, tempted by the thought of her gender again. He decided to delve a little bit further and use his vocabulary - which seemed to impress even those older then him - to his advantage.
"I mean not to offend, but you are quite lithe in size. Is it battle you wish to partake in, or a section of our civilian life? Amongst us there is only life as a soldier, or life as a wolf within us, working within he means of non-violence to make all of our lives a little better. You may be ready for anything, Misa... But you must tell me what you feel in your heart, Misa. What drives you forward?"
He focused on her with those intense double-hued eyes. One the color of the heavens above, a gentle blue.. while the other represented the demonic hells lurking beneath our paws.

But she did not mind, she knew that it had to happen. At least he was not being rude and very stuck-up about his actions, as she had seen so many wolves here do. There was a certain arrogance to many of them, that she was glad that she had not seen much of within the Warriors.
Her mind drifted back to Socrates, who had been on her mind since they had last separated, and she knew that if she was accepted, she would return to searching for him. She had regretted it immensely, letting herself be pulled away by the duties that lay before her, but she knew that it would have had to happen at some point or another.
She watched him with a determined look, as if she was desperate to prove that she could do any task put in front of her, and she did not dare disappoint him. As the son of Commander of the Warriors, she knew that he had much power, and she knew that she must tread carefully.
”I mean not to offend, but you are quite lithe in size. Is it battle you wish to partake in, or a section of our civilian life? Amongst us there is only life as a soldier, or life as wolf within us, working within the means of non-violence to make all of our lives a little better. You may be ready for anything, Misa…but you must tell me what you feel in your heart, Misa. What drives you forward?”
No one had ever bothered to ask her such a deep question before, most had just placed her and gotten on with it, tossing her aside like a little piece of scrap meat to be their pawn when they suddenly decided it to be convenient. ”I do not know, honestly sir, I usually am just content with wherever people put me. Most packs that I have been in, in the past, have put me with their stealthier groups of front line fighters, because of my size. Which I am content with, and I seem to work well there.”
She met his mismatched eyes with her own stare, one that showed no fear, and did not wince, even at the blood red eye that seemed to bore into her soul.
Ooc: I am sooo sorry! I totally forgot that I had to make this post. I promise I will keep up with it from now on!

He was trying his best not to just over assume everything, not to think of Misa as the fragile and delicate being he had supposed her to be. He tried to look past that, for in meeting Idris he knew that there was a lot more to some females then met the eye. They could be as fierce and competitive and shrewd as males and almost a hundred times more intense. It sent the young male for loops to imagine anything different from all he had known, but that was just it. It was his problem to deal with. Misa gazed at him intensely, with an appreciation he found all too familiar as it had come in the eyes of many wolves he had seen his elder and his superior. Briefly Benjiman flashed across his memory and he tried to feel that familiar, empowering surge he felt when he was with the strange, curl-tailed wolf.
She seemed pleased, as many were, with his way of speaking and the thoughtful way which he posed questions to others. It had the air of an inquisitive youth and yet cracked home soundly. Just one of his very few talents as he liked to call them. Misa was happy with not being treated overly delicately, so he would not push to do so, though he knew to keep his manners oddly in check.
”I do not know, honestly sir, I usually am just content with wherever people put me. Most packs that I have been in, in the past, have put me with their stealthier groups of front line fighters, because of my size. Which I am content with, and I seem to work well there.”
Sleep digested this with a nod, mulling over and over in his head this statement. It matched up, and it was on par with what he most likely would have been forced to choose for her had she been unable to decide for herself. But he was glad she could decide, because those who could not think for themselves were usually as useless as those with no physical capabilities. No, she had a strong and prideful mind and she knew her flaws as well as her strengths. She was also very pretty and very somber, yet Wintersleep could find himself - as per usual - unable to connect to these stranger emotions. They just did not click and flow for him like they did so seamlessly for other wolves, and this lead to heavily marred concepts of his sexuality. Just the idea of being sexual to him seemed foreign, something he had been deprived and suffocated of for the longest time it seemed.
Yes she was pretty, but she did little more then ignite the instinctive male drive to protect the ``weaker sex``, and his indomitable duty to set the silverish female up comfortably amongst the pack that was just as much his duty as it was his Mother's and even Idris'. He gritted his teeth a little thinking about the butch female.
"I can see you know your weaknesses along with your strengths, which helps me so much when it comes to discovering them out and working with them. I am glad for your quickness and keenness. I think with the right supervision and training you can excel in the ways of the Warrior, you have a lot of potential. I can see it in the muscles in your chest, neck and sides." A brief smile flickered across his lips. It was almost disgustingly the same as Dragunov's and he tried not to think about it. "I think you would best prove yourself on Border Patrol in fact."
He watched her for her reactions.
