One day mankind is living out its days in the same fashion - taking their children to school, working for a living in an office, going home, watching the television, going to bed, repeat - and the next they are fighting for their lives against their so-called "creatures of mere myth." Creatures and beasts that once lived in hiding from humanity rose up to make themselves known and respected, and global chaos ensued. Where did it start? Hard to say. The elders that remember the war thirty-six years ago often find themselves puzzled as to what exactly happened.
All mankind knows now is that this new world is lawless and dangerous, and former "mythics" are now roaming the cities and countryside without hesitation. Centaurs, satyrs, elves, dwarves, demons, vampires ... It's an unforgiving place where every day is a struggle to get by. They say that death lurks around every corner. Although, others say that death is a cheery young woman who you'd best keep away from if you fancy keeping your soul ...

About the Board
Dead Moon is a literate survival-horror/fantasy role playing board with a respect towards classic lore, applicable realism, and a love for colorful citizens. We encourage players to continue to grow and develop as writers and to create unique and compelling characters. The administrators are always open to questions and comments regarding the existing circumstances of the board in order to further develop the setting and create a deeper world to play in.
