There was a pleasantly brisk chill in the morning air when Relic woke, his sleep having been disturbed by the harsh scream of an eagle in the trees. Blinking heavily to clear the fog of sleep from his vision, the brown wolf lifted his head and gave a great, gaping yawn; a rush of cold air stung the back of his throat, and the wolf shook his head as the tired motion tapered off. His ears twisted about atop his head, gauging the various sounds in the forest around him: a chirping cardinal, three squirrels quarreling over an acorn in a nearby tree, and always the faint murmur accompanied the assembly of sounds. A thin white blanket of frost covered the forest, and clung to his chocolate coat until Relic rose stiffly to his feet and shook it away before stretching to limber his sore muscles. A thin veil of mist coiled about the tree trunks when Relic left his makeshift den and set out towards the river, trotting sprightly along a narrow, worn game trail. Soon the faint, ever present murmur of water grew to an audible hum, and before Relic could even see it through the trees he could hear the liquid gurgling distinctly over the river bed. It was quiet when he reached the river bank, and there was no one else in sight as he leapt onto a weather-worn boulder and began to cross the river. Nimble leaps carried him from stone to stone until he reached the middle, where he paused on the flat surface of one of the boulders and crouched to lap at the surface of the icy water. Once his thirst was quenched, Relic straightened and crossed the rest of the distance to the other shore. Hunger gnawed at the wolf’s belly as he began to trot along the water’s edge, heading up-stream; fortunately, he would not have to hunt that morning. Several days previous, Relic had come upon a coyote feasting on a freshly killed fawn, and he had promptly stolen the carcass from the less than agreeable creature. After having eaten his fill, Relic carried the fawn away, hiding the body beneath the cool stones along the river bank where the low temperatures had kept it well preserved ever since. The wolf was pleased to find that no one had stumbled across the cache since he had hidden the fawn there; the pleasures of a full stomach were rare for a loner, and Relic eagerly uncovered the body and drug it out into the open. Lifting the limp, mangled carcass, he leapt atop a mossy rock and dropped the remains of his kill, then settled in to enjoy the spoils beneath the warming rays of the morning sun.

Nokama walked into this new land. The air here was brisk and a little cold. A gust of wind hit her and she shook. She looked on and saw that a small sheet of frost was accumulating on the ground. She also seen what looked like the back of a den. She walked over and got on top of it. She peered in to see if anyone was in it, but not a single soul was in it. Just then the ground buckled then dropped and Nokama went with it as it caved in. She was in a daze for a few seconds, but then got up and shook her head.
She continued on to go look for some people to talk to and pal around with. Nokama walked through the forest and started hearing the babbling of a river. When she got there the water was not frozen yet and that was good for her that means she could get a cool, refreshing drink. She loved her head to the water and started to lap up the liquid refreshment. After she had her little drink she started to cross the river by jump over the rocks. "One rock, two rock, three rock, four." Nokama sang this as she crossed the river.
When she got to the other side she lifted her nose into the air. She got the smell of another other wolf that was near by. She began to walked to the new wolf's sent. She walked down the side of the river bank till she spotted a wolf perched upon a rock. "Good morning sir." Nokama said as she got closer to this wolf. He was chewing on some meat, so she kind of stayed back a little. "Dont you like the weather? It makes me feel alive and keeps me away. I am sorry to evade on you while your eating, but I wanted someone to talk to. If you want me to leave all you have to do is ask and I'm gone."

Golden rays of sunlight spilled over the rock on which Relic was enjoying his meal, warming his brown pelt and chasing the chill from the stone. It was quiet, for the most part. Most birds had begun their winter migration, and only a few fluttered about in the branches. Quite a few squirrels were dashing about, however, and the wolf watched them as he ate. Entertaining creatures, squirrels were. Good morning sir, someone suddenly spoke, prompting Relic to lift his head, mouth full, to see who had approached. Upon seeing the unfamiliar female, the wolf swallowed, forcing the chunk of meat in his mouth down while she went on to speak more, inquiring about the weather and then going on to apologize for interrupting. Nothing to worry about, he answered after having swallowed the last of his mouthful, I`m close to finished anyway. The wolf shifted on the rock, flicking his tongue across his muzzle to cleanse away the blood and chunks of gore clinging to his fur and whiskers, I don`t believe we`ve met before.

Nokama chuckled a little as this male wolf swallowed the piece of meat in his mouth. She looked at his chocolate brown fur and amber eyes as he cleared his muzzle of blood and other stuff.. They were the basics of his breed which was either timber or tundra. She listened to this mans words as they flew off his tongue and into her ears. The second he finished Nokama processed her answer in her head and then proceeded to reply. "No, we sure haven't meet. My name is Nokama, but most people call me Shaana. I have no idea why they just do. So what is your name?"
Nokama thought to herself 'This wolf will either tell me and just run off or will tell me and stay to talk.' She came a little closer to him, but not so close that she would get yelled at for being to closed to his food. She wiggled a little, because she can never stay still without doing something. This was a challenge for her, but she was up for it.
Nokama looked down at her feet then back up at the male. She was now staring right into his eyes. She was trying to find out how this wolf worked. She did this with most wolves. The only wolf she did not do this with was that wolf that was high on mushrooms. If she was not so out of it she would of, but that wolf was so high it would have done no good.

Relic nodded slowly when she gave her name, offering a brief smile when she finished speaking, “Good to meet you,Shaana” he answered; he was in rare form that morning, feeling perfectly sociable when he usually preferred to keep to himself until he had been awake for at least an hour or so, “Relic Volokov,” he dipped his head charmingly as he gave his name, a good natured smile tugging back the corners of his muzzle for a moment, “most just call me Rel, though.” He looked her in the eye for a few moments, then shifted slightly and returned his attention to the bone beneath his paw, stripping away and swallowing the last chunk of meat left on it. With his hunger satisfied, and barely anything worthwhile left in the scraggly carcass, Relic pushed the fawn’s remains aside with his paw, though he kept one of the creature’s femurs to gnaw on. “Are you doing well this morning?” the wolf asked once he had discarded the remains of his meal, leaving them for the scavengers to quarrel over in his wake. His ears perked towards her as he waited for a response, but he dipped his head in order to clean the small amount of blood that had smeared over his paws and forelegs. It wasn’t very visible against his dark coat, and chances were that no one else would have noticed it; but Relic didn’t much care for the way that blood tended to dry and crust on his fur. He much preferred to feel neat and clean.

Nokama listened to Relic as he told her his name, but then her mind started to wander when he started to eat again. She started to daydream about running though a field of flowers while whistling her favorite song. She soon zipped back into her mind when he asked “Are you doing well this morning?”. "Oh, ya i'm doing fine. I just came down her for a drink, then I meet you. I'm guessing you are having a good morning too," Nokama said. Then a yawn entered her throat that could not be held back. She yawned and stretched out to get the morning chills off her.
"So, what are you planning on doing to day? Anything I can join you in.'" Nokama said. She got up from her sitting place and came close, because the worry of him being attached to his food was gone. She walked so she was at the bottom of the rock he was perched upon and sat down. She then sat down and waited for him to reply to her question that was laid out on to the air. She was happy to have him to talk to otherwise she would have to spend the day either sing to herself or looking for some one. Life without talking would be hell, but there will always be singing in her life and noise. Noises are just like talking or singing they can be turned into beats and all you have to do is add the lyrics.

Oh, ya i'm doing fine. I just came down her for a drink, then I met you. I'm guessing you are having a good morning too. Relic nodded slowly once, "So far, yes," he answered with a smile, words trailing off as Nokama`s infectious yawn spread, causing him to do the same. As the motion tapered off, he stretched his paws out in front of himself, limbering his muscles thoroughly before he climbed slowly to his feet. Once at his full height, the chocolate colored male rolled his shoulders to loosen them, and gave himself a powerful shake. Dust and loose strands of hair puffed about his form for a moment, then floated slowly to the ground below, vanishing from sight as the wolf took a slow step towards the edge of the stone. Feeling enlivened by the cold bite in the air, Relic hoped down from the boulder, landing not far from the lively Nokama as she spoke again, So, what are you planning on doing to day? Anything I can join you in? Relic`s shoulder's rose in a shrug as he looked towards the river, ears pricking forward atop his head as a fish erupted from the water and then crashed back through the surface. A small wave soared above the stream before cascading downwards and splashing against the water, "I was just planning to explore the area ," he answered, turning his gaze towards the female when the surface of the stream began to clear again. He swept his tail once to the side, "You are welcome to come along if you like," Relic invited, deciding that a little bit of companionship would be a nice change of pace. It had been a good while since he had taken it upon himself to interact with others of his kind.

Nokama turned to see the fish fly out of the water as well. Nature is so exciting and enjoyable, but can be calm and relaxing. The world is wonderful in so many ways. It makes you feel good to be alive and well. Nokama would die if there was no loveliness in the world. Life is just pointless if there was no nature.
Nokama turned her head back to Relic a few seconds before he turned. She then waited once again for the answer to her question, but did not have to wait long. As You are welcome to come along if you like came into her ears she looked up at him and smile. "And I would love too.." Nokama wagged her tail and was excited not to be alone for the day.
She stepped back from Relic, walked to the side of him, and turned around. She loved to explore new places. She has loved it sense she was a pup. You could not keep her from exploring whether it was far and wide or just a few feet to the side. She loved to see new thing, big or small did not matter as long as it was new. "Ok, you lead and I will follow Relic." Nokama said with excitement in her eyes.

Relic turned and leapt down from the boulder in which he had been perched, landing lightly on the rock-strewn edge of the stream. He took a moment to look around, then flipped his tail to the side and began to make his way upriver, heading towards the waterfall. He had already traversed the length of the stream below this particular fall; he’d started at the mouth of the stream where it bled out into the ocean and worked his way up. Now Relic hoped to head up river and find the spring that fed it. He didn’t have any particular reason for doing so; it was really just something to do. As a loner, it wasn’t as though his schedule was packed with responsibilities. Never much of a conversationalist, Relic remained fairly quiet as they headed upstream together. His birth-pack had been shattered into various cliques, and members usually stuck to their groups save for when they were called together by the alpha. Stranger’s were not at all tolerated by the group, so thanks to these factors Relic wasn’t the best when it came to meeting new people and making small talk. He preferred to let the other start up the conversation. It was a lot easier to respond to someone else than take charge of it all.

Nokama follow on the side of Relic. She looked around and let her eyes do the walking It was hard to pay attention to one thing. She looked at the water fall as they walked up to it. If you went under it it would be like being in a very powerful shower. The water did not stop moving and did not stop for a second. To fall down this water fall would hurt like hell and you can drown from the pressure. Water falls are nice, but deadly don't be fooled.
Nokama continued to walked next to Relic up stream. She enjoyed to be with this wolf for some reason even though he did not talk much. "So, what brought you over to this realm of the world?" Nokama said as he continued to walk. She looked at his chocolate brown fur is was so sleek and shiny. She looked around again and quickly turned her head away from the water. She saw a rabbit scamper out of its hole and into the forest.
Different animals have different ability's. Nokama's was to make people smile and be happy. Although not everyone is affected by her ability there are some who fall in love with her just by her smile. She was a free spirit and went where the wind took her. She lets loves to be with people, but not because of the attention . It was because she loved to make people smile and feel as good as her. The only pack she would think of joining is maybe the Enchanted Kingdom.
