All around the sparsely treed forest little snowflakes were beginning to gather. They danced elegantly from the afternoon sky before joining the snow on the ground, or a clump clinging to a tree. One by one the snowflakes fell into place, becoming apart of the winter wonderland. Visonne was a snowflake. She had been falling on her own for over a year and she was tired of it. She was ready to land. She wanted become apart of something bigger. She wanted to not be tired, or hungry. Most importantly she wanted to not be alone anymore. Even if that meant she would have play nice. She could be nice for a little while, or at least try to.
Visonne wasn't sure who, or what she was looking for, only that it was called Revolt. Very rarely had she ever seen any of the members, she had no clue what to expect. But it was something she could possibly call home. That alone was a good enough reason to take her chances in finding this pack. Visonne looked at the trees surrounding her. She had walked through this forest a hundred times, each time she felt aloneness all around her. It clung to the trees, and filled the air like a fog. She wondered if joining a pack could make it go away. Even having felt it half of her life she still had not gotten used to it. It still felt wrong.
The sound of a rabbit darting from her path caused Visonne's ears to perk up. She was hungry. Her stomach twisted and growled at sight of the food. She ignored the desire to attack the prey and instead watched as the brown dot faded into the trees. She didn't have time to eat, she still needed to find the Revolt pack, before she changed her mind. What if they don't want me had crossed her thoughts many times throughout the day. If they didn't want her she would be alone again. But of course they would want her, why wouldn't they? She laughed at herself for being so outlandish. Wherever they were, and whoever they were she was going to find out soon.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,400,true] | [atrb=background,http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk107/puddinxpiexB/CrouseMIDDLE.png] Just a note: traveling through a swamp is a rather stupid idea. When I was bored, I just roamed about the island, milling through various rogue lands. But I had discovered that I'd never go back to that hell-hole of a land, because it'd taken me ages to simply move through the murky waters. There had been too much mud, and it literally felt like it had been grabbing my legs, trying to take me down. Evidence of my little adventure remained on what was once my creamy white legs. Now they were stained with a disguisting brown color, and the smell along with it was unpleasant. This set me off into a very pissed mood, because I wasn't quite sure where the nearest stream was; I had to get this shit off of me. I was traveling through the Eversong Woods at the moment, heading to the Mystical Falls. Water was more than abundant there, and that way I'd be very close to the lands of the Order. They were the Revolt's allies, and their large numbers offered protection. The only reason I was worried was because I couldn't smell a damn thing. After trudging through that gunk, it was difficult to smell anything else, and that made me feel vulnerable. Yeah, I know what you're thinking. Crouse, vulnerable? Hell's frozen over. Well, maybe we shouldn't go that far, but yes, I was indeed having an off day. A rough off day, at that. And it was the lack of my most important sense that led me so close to a stranger. Visually, I'd been paying too much attention to my dirty legs, as well as my dirty underside, and I hadn't quite seen her until I was much closer than I liked. When I finally looked up, registering that I'd been coming up behind someone, my muscles locked up and I stopped where I was. Incidentally, my foot happened to slip, on what I wasn't sure, but the stick or leaf caused noise, bringing attention to my presence. Well, shit. My expression was gaurded, and that wasn't because of the wolf herself. She had an average build of a female, and therefore I had nothing to worry about as far as a fight went. What worried me the most was that I couldn't smell her, and that meant I had no idea who she ran with. Was she a Renegade wolf? That would be the worst case. A Lucifer wolf wouldn't be that bad, nor an Enchanted wolf, and an Order wolf was ideal. She'd be on my side. Of course, she could have placed her loyalties to no one, and she was nothing more than a loner. That, too, would be ideal, but I just couldn't tell. I knew that I was in poor appearance, and that was very unlike me, but there was nothing I could do about it. So I just drew myself up as if I didn't stink and as if I really looked amazing. My ears were forward and my tail up, like it always was, but the mud caked on it was weighing it down, so it was an effort. "Hey. What's crackin'?" Call me wierd, but freaking others out could be kind of fun. ooc:// Hehehe, he's all gross! :3 Anyhow, Crouse is the Beta, for lack of a better term, of the Revolt, so he can accept Visonne. ^^ | |
