Mythirl walked into the vast meadow. The fall flowers left and the winter flowers started to grow like Acashias, Alstromerias, Amaryllis, and Carnations. The world was covered in frost and the sun was not warm anymore. As he walked the heat from his body made the frost melt and stick to him.
He loved winter flowers, but not winter snow. It was just frozen water. If it was Mythril's chose to control the weather he would destroy snow all together. He also hated the cold that came with it. He hated it even though his fur could take most of the winds reimbursement.
Mythril continued on his way and stopped to smell the flowers on the way to the forest where he would start to build his den. He reached the forest at the end of the meadow and got some what into it. He looked around and found a slight hill and decided that was here he would make his den.
Mythril walked over to the slight incline and started to dig down. the hill would make a a thick roof and a protector from some snow. He could use branches from the trees to keep the cold air out. He was determined to get this done now before the snow started to come down.

In reality, it was a bit safer than the Dusty Moon Trails, because this side of the island was nothing but Rogue over-run. I had nothing to fear considering the wolves of the Order bordered this field, and our enemies were a good stretch away. I actually felt comfortable, even if it was far from the Crystal Stream. Sometimes you just had to get away. That was precisely what I was doing by wandering through these snowy grasses. It was new land to me, something new to see, and that was my reasoning for being here. I thought about running just for the sake of running, but then I decided against it. I was a bit weary from all this traveling, though I had no desire to stop and rest, nor did I have the desire to turn back around and head home. After many pawsteps of aimless walking, I changed my course and set my sights on the comforts of the treeline. Surely it would be a little warmer there. Winter was my favorite season, but even I didn't enjoy the biting edge of the wind. As I made my way for the trees, I noticed that I wasn't the only one who had been heading this way. I saw pawtracks that stretched from inner field to the edge, and they must be pretty recent because this snow was fresh. Deciding I wouldn't mind being a little social, I followed the tracks. It was easy to find him; I crossed one rise to see a wolf digging into another hillside. Trotting down the slope and into the dip, I called out to the stranger. "Trying to hide from something, are we?" I joked, my lips curling slightly. It was a bad idea to get on the good side of this fellow, however, but I just didn't know that yet. ooc:// This is wierd. Crouse it being friendly for once. Anyhow, this is gonna be interesting. -winkwink-

Mythril was almost done digging when a male voice entered his ears. He quickly got out of his almost done den and turned around. There standing was a handsome male wolf with cream colored fur. He was attractive to Mythril, but this was rare for a male to be. Mythril would love to have a fling with this wolf, but not a full term relationship. No matter what he promised his mother that he would be a mate to a female and not a male and he was going to keep that promise.
"Hello there and what brings you to this part of the woods?" He said. Mythril was trying to small talk, but never was good at it. He was better at getting other wolves to do what he wanted. Mythril was going to put his charm on this wolf and not lighten up. The wolf's appearance was getting to hi brain and fogging it up.
Mythril walked forward up to this dashing wolf and studied him. He had one light blue and one brown eye which was fine and nice. He had a muscled body that was very nice. He looked like a wolf that would be in charge of a large number of people. Mythril was hoping that A: he was at least a little bisexual and B: that he was not in a relationship now.
OOC: Well this is before Mythril meets Paradox.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,400,true] | [atrb=background,http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk107/puddinxpiexB/CrouseMIDDLE.png] The moment I called out, he backtracked, squeezing his body back and turning around. He had dirt caked on his paws from the effort of digging, and other parts of his body were dirty, too. The first thing I noticed was the scar that dragged across his face; facial scars were always noticable. He was lean, which meant he was probably a runner. Despite that, I was larger than he was; he might have some scars, which meant he had some battle experience, but I had the upperhand of size. 'Hello there and what brings you to this part of the woods?' Even though I was in a decent mood today, I never felt the need to tell the truth. When enemies surrounded you, and gossip spread like a wildfire, you couldn't afford to tell the truth. And if he didn't recognize me or my scent, that meant he didn't know who I was. Of course, there would be no fear in him, but that meant I could say whatever I wanted. There wasn't too much to gain from this fellow, not by lying. I didn't see how this guy could be beneficial to me. Maybe he'd be an asset to the Revolt, but I couldn't give a care about recruiting members. Somehow there was a thrill to it, and I liked to think that I was good at it. So even though I never told the truth unless it really didn't matter, I liked to lie because it was fun. "I'm just wandering about; I'm new to the island, and I'd thought I'd get to know the lay of the land." Lies. I'd been born on this island, and I was three now. But he wouldn't know that, now would he? The words slipped naturally off my tongue, and there was no twitch in my face to indicate the false words. "This your den?" I asked, waving my khaki muzzle toward the hole in the ground that he created. I wasn't really interested to tell the truth, but it was small talk. I needed at least a little social interaction before I began the journey back to the Crystal Stream. The stranger advanced forward, and there was--at least, it seemed like it to me--a curious edge in his gaze. I totally missed the 'interested' look; if he had been a chick, there was no doubt that I'd pick up on it. And knowing me, I'd return the looks, since we were so far away from where Joaquin roamed around. But since this was simply a guy meeting, I wasn't paying any attention. I didn't think I'd have to.

'So one problem down and one to go. There is no real way to tell if some one is bi.' "Is this your den." "Ya it's just for the winter so I will use it for about 3-4 months. I hate the winter." Mythril said telling the truth he was blinded by his handsomeness and could not think about trying to find lies in his words.
"So your new to this land me too. I can from the mainland on a piece of drift wood. It was all I could find." Mythril smiled and then turned back to his den and saw the mess of dirt placed right outside of it. "I'm sorry, but I have to finish my den. You can keep talking, but I need to do this."
Mythril turned around and went back to the den. He flattened the dirt pile flat and then went back into his den to continue digging. He was going to make it big enough to for 2 people so that this new wolf to come in "Oh by the way I'm Mythril." Mythril was over come by this wolves handsomeness.
He wants to find out if this wolf was bi, but he wanted to just sprinkle it into some of the conversation. He was going to get him some way, but if he was not bi he would just forget it, finish his conversation with him, and then get winter over with. Mythril now was just digging in silence until he got some of his question answered and a plan to get him.

I scoffed. How could anybody hate the winter? It was my favorite season; of course, I was a bit too self-centered to realize that my likings didn’t quite go for everybody else. “How the hell can you hate winter? It’s gotta be the better season.” I said with a finality in my tone, as if it were truth. That was just who I was. Don’t like it, get out. On another note, I didn’t know why he was telling me this. If I had had any hidden grudge against him, I could have used that information against him. In this time of war, you couldn’t let anybody know how long you were staying in one place. But maybe he didn’t know there was a war.
‘So you’re new to this land; me too. I came from the mainland on a piece of drift wood. It was all I could find.’
Hrm, now I’d have to make up a fun story as to how I came to be here…. “Yeah, I came by sea too.” Shit, what a stupid thing to say. My ears flicked in an annoyed way, but he didn’t see because he had turned back to his mounds of dirt. Of course I would have come from the fucking sea, where else would I have come from? Would I have flown? I was the next Einstein. I smirked at my inner sarcastic comments. “Not the most ideal journey, but hey, what can ya do.” I still wasn’t sure why I was in this relatively friendly mood. Usually I’d be snapping at him for no particular reason…Huh. Oh well, I wasn’t going to ponder it for very long.
‘I'm sorry, but I have to finish my den. You can keep talking, but I need to do this.’
“Yeah. Right.” I didn’t comment further, but instead lowered my haunches to sit back. After a moment, I shifted to the side to ensure that I wouldn’t be in the path of his dirt. I didn’t mind getting dirty if I had to, but I definitely didn’t have to here. I sat there for a moment, trying to think of something to say that would bring about more lies just for the hell of it.
‘Oh by the way I'm Mythril.’
Ahh, here was the perfect opportunity. “And I’m Cris.” Way to bring back the name I’d used when I’d been manipulating Balorik. A smirk twisted at my mouth and I had to work to wipe it away, in case this fellow turned back around. “So, you been here long?"
