I couldn't afford to lose focus, no, not at all. I snapped my attention back to him as he said, Any particular reason your out here by yourself? Perhaps I could be of assistence. I switched from a smile to frown, trying to think of something to say that wouldn't upset him, as he seemed very picky about what I say. Then I finally had it, or thought I did anyways. " Well, " I said, stepping closer to him. To wander aimlessly around while other wolves busied themselves with true, real things? To just sit around wasteing my life, not doing anything?
