It was not a painful fire, no, it was a good fire. It was a fire of many colors, pink, red, orange, blue, green, purple, it was every color you could imagine. Not to mention the strangest thing of all, it seemed to be moving. It was like seaweed under the water or and endless dance, going on forever. There where many stories about this skyfire, and many variations of each story. Some would say it was magic, some would say it was a sign, and some would say it was the spirits looking down on the wolves below. A white she-wolf watched the skyfire from the earth below. Like any other wolf living beneath the skyfire this white she-wolf had her own theory about the it. It was a story her mother had told her, it was a variation of the idea that it was caused by spirits. The spirits of wolves that had long perished looked down on earth, sad that when they sang to their living family and friends they could not hear them. So they created the skyfire, lights that would color the sky whenever they howled, so they the living knew they where still singing. The white wolf smiled as her pack began to howl, its song filling the sky. The white she-wolf joined in as she ran towards her pack, her paws leaving small prints on the snow. This was her home, this was her song. Tasmia let out a silent sigh when her eyes opened, reluctant to leave to dream. To leave a world where song filled the air, a world where her voice was heard, and return to a world where she was forever silent. Each night she visited this amazing world, each morning she was pulled back in to the real world, and each evening she went to sleep hoping that it was the other world that was real and this was the lie. Well the other world was real, but she had never been there. It was her mother's birthplace, a place she had only heard stories about. The white wolf slowly crawled out of the dark abandoned bear den that she had been sleeping in and blinked when the sun hit her eyes. The sun was high and bright let when a breeze hit Tasmia she shivered, it was freezing. This was due to winter setting in, a fact that had been prowling around the back of her mind. This would be her first winter and she had nether a mother nor a pack, practically a death sentence. With a quick glance at the surrounding area Tasmia began to walk out of the small clearing the den resided in, entering the trees. The hard and cold stone under-paw slowly changed to gritty soil, something she welcomed. Once she was a few feet in to the trees Tasmia took in a deep breath, it was time to hunt. Mistakes. Everyone makes those. But mine just have to be the biggest. You want to play tag?' a wolf onced asked me. 'Sure,' I said, wagging my tail. What a fool I was. a stupid fool. The next thing I know, the biggest mistake of all happened. I had three pups. And left two of them in the hands of my old pack. I know, stupid, right? Well, at least I had Auburn. I didn't leave him there, thank god. I wanted to leave my thoughts, banish them to a place where I couldn't reach them. Banish myself where no one could reach me. A happy thought. I lifted myself off the cold stone floor that I was laying on. It wasn't the best place to spend the night in, it being stone and all. But at least it protected me from the fiece wind. Oh, you don't know where I am, do you? I'll try to tell you. Right now, I was standing in a dark cold cave, somewhere in the mountains. I was facing east, watching the warm sun slowly rise up above, where it could warm everyone up. Oh, how I wanted that warmth right now. I was stiff from laying on the cold floor, and wanted to be unstiff and able to move. I looked longily out of the cave, towards the sun. Oh, why not? I walked slowly out of the cave, my deep blue eyes darting to and fro. I made sure that no one was around, that no one saw me. Why? It's part of my mistrustful nature. And then I caught the scent. A female, just minutes away from me. I struggled to repress the side of my nature that longed for company, but failed. I slowly began making my way to her, at least glad that it was a she. when I was within but a few steps from here, I sat down and warily watched her for a minute, glad the wind was blowing her scent to me, and not the other way around. And then it switched, the wind blowing my scent to her. I stiffened, and then opened my mouth to speak to her. " 'Elllo thar, " I said, my voice quiet and peaceful so I wouldn't scare her. Oh cruel world, what are you coming too? There, hidden beneath the brush was a small black ball of fluffy fur. The sun arose, taking its reign over the world once again. Yet he felt no desire to get up, considering he had wandered most of the night. The sun rays hit his hidden eyes, as he clenched them harder, suddenly angry at the world as it seemed to keep nagging at him to do this or that. Nouveau lost this battle. Becoming reckless he finally decided to wake until he could find better cover. It wasn't really safe around these rogue area's anyways. But even so, the only thing he truly wanted was to stumble upon another wolf. It would make things more interesting, make his life a little more up lifted. He wished he could find Tobi again, his old friend that had gone off on his own also. Or perhaps Tsuika, little did Nova know, she was long gone from this world. Unfortunately this pup was reaching his first year birthday, but it was becoming clear he had more genetic disorders. For Nouveau had hardly grown an inch taller within the past few months. These months were prime time for getting near adult height. Hopefully he was just a ate bloomer, considering the huge paws he had to grow into, along with a very thick fluffy coat that needed to be re-framed by this late growth spurt. Taking in a deep yawn, he had his breath stolen from the cold air. Cramping inside his lungs, he rejected and coughed from the sudden intake of freezing air. There was the slightest layer of snow covering the green ground. Like a light dust of a fairy made of white had just flown through for a split second. Nouveau imagined the childish image then shook his head furiously. Even for his age, so young and so innocent. That mind of his was so dignified and mature. Having been on his own for the past five months, it was pure luck and a miracle he was still alive. He was well aware its unlikely a pup his size should have survived, but now the cold weather was setting in and he needed a little more than luck to survive. He'd need skills, someone to help, but he wanted to refuse to make himself rely on someone else. An orphan is what he could be called. But Nova wanted no one to pity him, he was a pure believer in fate. It was his fate to be departed from his caring parents, his pack. It was fate he was born a mute, unable to ever speak those wise and such useful words. It was also fate he had survived this long. That was the one thing Nouveau would forever believe in, since everything else fell through and failed him. A cold breeze sent shivers down his small ebony body. As the scents of two young adult females filled his nose. Taking two curious sniffs, he felt completely ignorant as the thought of 'perhaps they have a meal...?' filled his mind. It didn't help as his stomach made a monstrous sound. As if a demon was inside, and was hungry. Very hungry. After surviving off grass, small amphibians, fruit and left over carcasses, a meal sounded truly intriguing. His body lifted off the ground, only taking a few steps. Licking his chops for a moment. But then he forced his rump to the ground once more. 'Don't be a fool, what if they'd take him for the meal? What if.... What if, good question Nova.' He gave himself a blank stare. Even with his rough mature demeanor, he couldn't help instinct to survive and find food in any way possible. Closing his eyes, he silently sighed as a cloud of white formed in front of him. Raising up on all fours once again, he stumbled forth. Letting desire take over him. Tracking their scents, he didn't realize how close they were. Hiding from behind a tree, the creme fae said hello to the snow fae. Both seemed pretty naive and well harmless in a sense. He had a partial evil smirk over his maw as he wandered into the scene. Over this past year, Nouveau has learned his ways. Having come across many great wolves, they all taught him different things. He knew he had to do whatever he had to, to keep himself alive right? Why not take advantage of that innocent pup look while he still had it eh? Looking to them both slowly, he put on a smile, it was his way of saying hello. He was a manipulator and a hypocrite, and he knew it. ooc; sorry i've been rather busy <3

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,10,true] | [atrb=background,http://i899.photobucket.com/albums/ac192/fireb4ashes/Tasmia---MIDDLE.png] Tasmia narrowed her eyes as this new wolf approached. The second the new wolf came in to her line of sight she began sizing her up with her eyes, after all, anyone could be an attacker. The first thing she noticed about her was her eyes. They where a deep blue, similar to a shade of blue in the skyfire. Why was this the first thing that popped in to her head at the sight of the eye color? Simple, there was a story that her mother always used to tell her about this particular color. This color was the great Kalea, the one who brought the white wolves to the tundra. Tasmia's mother always said that the white wolves used to live in a great forest along with the grays and reds, however they where a dieing race. Their snow-white pelts stuck out like a sore thumb when hunting as well as in battle, not to mention the abuse they got from the gray and red wolves. They would attack the poor white wolves, saying the lack of color in their pelts was a bad sign. Kalea was born to a pair of loners, no royal blood in her, no great prophecy about her, nothing to say she was special. In fact the only remarkable thing about her besides the normal white pelt of the white wolves was her deep-blue eyes. She was also very flawed, rude and lacking social skills. However, she was brave and her heart was in the right place, she would not stand for how her kind was being treated. One day there was a great battle between the white wolves and the grays and reds. By the end there was only a handful of wolves left who where kept as prisoners, Kalea included. They knew they where doomed, they would last a couple weeks if they where lucky. Some wolves might want to keep them as slaves but in the end they would be executed and the white wolves would be gone forever. However, Kalea would not let that happen, she had a plan. Five days and three deaths later it came, their last chance. One night of every month the moon would vanish from the sky, covered in a great shadow. The white wolves called this the dark-moon. That fifth night was that months dark-moon and happened to be very cloudy as well, a night where it would be harder to see. While this affected the white wolves as well they had a better chance then they would any other night for their white pelts would not be about to give them away. Plus the gray and red wolves had given them an advantage without meaning to, the small den that they had been keeping the prisoners in was very dark, thus making them used to seeing in the dark. Thanks to Kalea's plan the white wolves escaped that night and began to search for a new home. After three months of traveling Kalea heard of a place, a place where it was always winter, where the ground was always white. Knowing very well that they would be able to blend in Kalea began to lead the pack in the direction this rumor said would lead her to this land, north. After three more months they finally found it, a place where their white pelts helped them instead of getting them in too trouble, a place where they truly belonged. From that day on the white wolves where known as the tundra wolves. Like any wolf Kalea eventually died. It was a peaceful death, passing away in her sleep. That night there was a new color in the skyfire, deep blue. The same color as this new wolfs eyes. "Ello thar." The other wolfs words snapped Tasmia out of her thoughts, this was no place to be thinking about one of her mothers stories. Tasmia gave a wary nod of greeting to the other wolf without taking her eyes off her. She could still be a threat, Kalea's eyes or not. Only a moment later, although it seemed like years to Tasmia, another wolf came in to sight. I can't believe it, I was to busy watching this one to bother checking for others! Stupid, stupid! However this one did not seem like much of a threat. While the black wolf seemed to be about her age he looked rather small. It was kinda... cute. With a slight frown and a silent sight Tasmia offered the black wolf a nod in greeting, it was all she could be after all.

Seeing the first wolf completely drove the thought of more out of my mine. Totally. And so when the dark wolf come out where I could see him, I was caught totally off guard. And I hated it. The other wolf, the first one, gave me a nod. I smiled softly back, my eyes bright. Maybe I would finally meet someone who would seem a little friendly......not likely. But, why give someone a chance to hurt you? I closed my eyes painfully. Do not think about it, focus on the present. Today, this very moment. And then I felt differant. I could feel my heartbeat, feel the blood flowing out and the snow falling on my coat outside. Everything seem virbrant. i opened my eyes. And it ended. I felt cheated. Oh well. I'll just keep on with my life, won't I? Like I did before. And at this very moment, I need to take a chance. I knew it. I took a few steps towards the first wolf. " My name's Ember, " I said, my voice low and very soft. Then I turned towards the other one and gave him a wary nod. Then, for a few seconds, my mind seemed to be filled with whispers, the soft fluttery kind that just make you want to say something. The repeated conversations of every loner I've ever met. And then it stopped. [/blockquote]

Nouveau continued to approach. He kept his eyes moist, blinking constantly due to the cold weather making them almost water on their own. A silent whimper erupted, but only in his head. But he truly did feel the vibrations of hunger cracking inside his abdominal region, mostly it was pissed and wanted some real food to fill it. Eyes lifted back and forth between the white & cream females. Both fairly beautiful in his opinion. His eyes stuck on Tasmia. Squinting as he thought he dedicated something strange about her. Glancing toward the creme and white brindled fae, she was closing her eyes. As if clearing her head, afraid of something. He raised a brow, high headed enough to understand they we're hardly accepting the fact he was there. He raised his head, now glaring at the two. He was sort of ticked, perhaps his cute pup looks we're wearing off. Shaking his head to emotionally feel fresh, he slowly padded closer to them. Both easily towered above him, although with his age and huge amount of fur and mass to grow into, he'd for sure be a large wolf once an adult. Something he knew he got from his father, that large and dangerous look. Yet as a price, he had no right to voice his opinion, or ever speak a word. The silence suddenly became very noticeable. Glancing at Ember then to Tasmia a exhaled amount of breath escaped, he was expressing his laugh. Ember was completely confused, while Tasmia said nothing. He glanced at her, staring unnoticeably and quietly. Something in her eyes expressed a sadness, the same his shown even though he didn't want to express it, they were both feeling melancholy, unable to respond. A smirk came over his maw. Jerking his head toward Ember, trying to get her attention. Raising his eyebrows, licking his lips, eye showing a sign of anticipation. Yet he could say nothing, other than a few grunted sounds and the sound of his breathing patterns. He simply exhaled quickly, smile among his maw and closed his eyes, this was him laughing. But that smile vanished. Vibrant yellow green eyes flashed open, as he stared down Ember. Opening his maw as far as it could. His eyes looked at her then he narrowed to the center of his muzzle. His pup like tongue twitched as he made a complete resemblance that he was going to howl or bark, but no sound came. Snapping his jaw shut, a click echoed through the forest. He raised a eyebrow, showing a bit of attitude as he pondered what her expression would be. Nouveau was a smart ass. He knew that. He took whatever he could get his over grown paws on and held it tight. Same as his gaze toward Ember. Blinking a few times, he pivoted to turn to Tasmia. Trotting toward her, he bowed his head politely. His eyes glowed as sudden excitement flowed through him. He wasn't even sure if she was mute or not, but something inside him just urged and the signs almost seemed like a siren. His left ear rotated, then the right. A enchanting smile among his young features. He took a few steps back, deciding to be respectful to them both. He still had the plan to please them so he could possibly get a scrap of food. Dropping his rump on the ground, it would be a very interesting... one sided conversation. ooc; I just sort of realized how similar Lucee and Nouveau are xD Except, he purposly is a smart ass and tries prove his points to no end. While Lucee is innocently selfish xD
