They were winning. They were winning this hopeless war where the feeble would parish and the strong would resiliently progress on, blazing in a light of purity. The paltry forces defending the “innocence” fell to the earth in growing numbers, dropping like sparrows out of the sky as hawks crushed their wings with slicing talons. Fear wove its spindly fingers into the desperate hearts of many as they worried a new body would be discovered throat slashed or brutally mutilated over night. Some may argue that many of those exterminated have not commit a crime; however, is it not a crime to produce defected offspring that will surfer in inherit weakness? The next generation will collapse in ruin unless Traum goes through a great cleansing!
A towering individual, symbol of the unmovable mindset of the greatest cause, sauntered into nonchalantly enemy lines, passing without a hint of wariness. The beast came there with the intent of being discovered as a trespasser, confident he would be ridding the world of another dim-witted pest. Coolly smiling, he settled himself in the center of a trail, perhaps one leading the patrol lines, and he wrapped his snowy banner around his rump. Scoffing, the male lowered his head, scanning between the scattered trees for a sign of another wolf. The vibe that struck Zero told him there was another around, just one other as far as he could tell. He didn’t need a scent nor visual to tell him that, often having a keen sense of awareness and lucky judgment.
Crimson orb bouncing lively around, Zero waited to see the “warrior” that would approach. One would die tonight. It was about time he killed another warrior as he killed Zane. Smile turning to a sickening smirk, his thoughts swirled fondly of the memory when Dragunov and he united. Oh, such a long memory ago when Zane fell to the earth in a blood bath in the lands of what is now the inner Sanctum, the land that once belonged to the wolves he was invading now. Serena hated him for it, he knew. Revenge was her plan. Yes, he was positive of that too. When and where, he did not know, but his life would not be lost. Having many dead by his name, including that of a former Commander of the Realm, Serena did not worry him too much. She was just an old hag anyhow…probably growing weak with age for all he knew!
It was a mutual hatred they had between them. Zero, more than anything, laughed at her pettiness, a chuckle from the thoughts actually escaping his lips. Ha! Believing in defending nuisances of the species, breeding deformed things that he couldn’t even classify as a true wolf…if she had her mind in the right place, she may have been of great use to the world. Her stubbornness could have been used to defend a worthy cause of life. However, it would not be Serena Zero would be encountering today. It just wasn’t that time yet. It would be a random member, an unfortunate one that would come across the murderous General of the Order.
Becoming tired of sitting, he tucked his legs beneath his massive frame and lifting himself up to a comfortable stance, muscles rippling as he shifted. The moon light bathes the ghostly wraith in a silvery glow, making him an angel from the stories some may have passed through generations, a pure white wolf, sent to do the bidding of a great cause, to kill the evil who stood against destroying the wolf species with awful inherited characteristics. His tail waved loosely above his rump, asserting his dominance even in a foreign land of the enemy. The silence of the night was almost eerie, neither a bird nor animal stirred; yet moments passed and he heard someone approaching, probably having picked up the potent fragrance of the Order in the territory. Blood began to rush through the veins of the beast, carrying fuel to his blood lust and mutilating fantasies. Sinking his claws in the earth, a small shudder ran through his massive body, pleasuring in the thought of how flesh would tear beneath him. Still smirking with chops flashing, he twisted his head around to gaze to where he heard another coming. And the German wolf rolled some words, coaxing the wolf out. "Come out, come out, where ever you are...I have a lovely message from the Order. You should hear it." Tonight, Zero would have another skull to add to his beloved trophy collection.

Life as a warrior was everything that Azalea had expected. It was tense, rough and left her wanting to just run away but this is where she belonged. She was doing this for the greater good of the island, to prevent that scum Dragunov from taking over and destroying everything. She was a fighter, born and raised to be a warrior and now that she was one she was only slightly regretting it. She wasn't the best fighter or assassin and had gotten a lower ranking which meant more boring work but that was alright. Once the war began she would have her moment to shine, to protect and to serve Serena. Oh that she-wolf, how she admired her. Serena was her idol, a strong, independent wolf who knew what she wanted and what was right and wrong. Azalea had never before respected another as much as she did Sister Wolf. This was certainly the right place for her to be and Azalea would keep her head held high until this war was won or until she drew her last breath. Little did she know that tonight would be her last moments of life and that her greatest test was about to be face to face with her.
The night was calm, not a single sound to be heard, not even a soft breeze blew by. It was still very cold, the harsh winter coming to a close though it was by no means easing up. Snow covered the ground, though it was dense enough by now to call it ice. It was rough on the female's paws, digging in and leaving her sore at the end of the day. Though she was finding that the cold was actually helping to numb her body so that pain was irrelevant. She continued on anyway, her nightly patrol almost coming to an end as she finished up around the boarders of the land. The feather tucked behind her ear shifted and fluttered as she jogged along, her tail swaying and whipping around to help her keep her balance on the unstable ice and snow below her paws. Though she was a small wolf in height she was thick with muscle, a well trained fighter it would seem. Her coat wasn't very thick but her skin was tough below that due to her long travels to get to this point. She appeared to be delicate but she was far from it, this she-wolf could certainly put up a fight.
As she grew closer to completing her round a scent reached her nose that made it burn and her stomach clench. Scum from The Order had dared to cross the boarders and show up here? A deep growl left her black lips and bi-colored eyes narrowed dangerously. The hair along her back lifted and her heart began to race. Finally she would have her chance to prove herself to Serena. She would take care of this filth and she would get respect that she so wanted. Her tail lifted over her back and her pace picked up quite a bit. She raced along until the white figure appeared before her. He was bigger than she was which had her a bit worried but she quickly pushed that to the back of her mind. Size did not matter to her, she had more then enough strength to stand up for herself. His words rang out in her ears and she snarled lowly, her teeth flashing in the moonlight. Her tail lashed around above her now as she squared off her shoulders and stood in front of him, preventing him from moving any further into the territory.
Her breathing was deep and her eyes were lit with a passion and desire to either kill this male or run him out. It was only then that she noticed the ruby red eye and the distinct smell of death. This wolf was Zero, a male who she hadn't met but had heard plenty of stories about. Oh how lovely this would be. She smirked and growled again, her head lowering between her shoulders, ready for anything to happen. "You must have a big pair to have shown up here dog." She hissed out, her voice firm and low. In that moment she held no fear for this monster, only courage and a bit of stubbornness.

Crimson eye focusing, a haunting smirk was etched upon his maw, seeing a snarling little rat come charging from the distance. The titanic white behemoth slowly turned, readjusting himself to race the scrawny wolf, facing her with a relaxed yet firm stance. Tail high above his head, he waiting for the little thing to finally close the rest of the distance, he nearly began busting out a laugh. Look at the fae! Tiny! Though it seems she has grown muscles, but ha! Boy…this was a warrior. This is going to be easier than killing Zane, the dead former commander of the Warriors…which was pretty pathetic at fighting to begin with.
Still chuckling as she approached, his massive frame vibrating with laughter, he gazed up into the bi-colored eyes of this little girl; they burned with a passionate hate, an ignorant hate. Zero still could not believe that the Warriors were so blind in the brightest cause of the world. They walked in darkness, not the light of purity. Only if they could be educated…but of course, it was the most stubborn of wolves that were Warriors. Zero’s nostrils practically burned smelling the ignorance, but it fueled the deadly beat on. Zero’s eyes glanced over the tiny frame of the rat again, cause him to laugh instead of chuckle. The girl stood aggressively, shoulders squared and head lowered.
“You must have a big pair to have shown up here dog.”
His laughing stopped, giving her a quizzical look. His brow raised in slight confusion but was quickly erased with amusement. “My, little rat, dear, haha…” His German accent rolled off his tongue with a little laughter, but it was stern in a sense. It was as if the beast found amusement in the sad scene but was disappointed with how long things have gotten for the Realm. This is the war he was anticipating? A right against little wolves that could be rats? “You must realize, though I have great balls, I do not need them here. I have already killed your former Commander Zane, and to fight you? One small, one more insignificant, one of obvious lower rank with that stench, what is there for me to have guts or balls for? Except if I wanted to rape you all, but I don’t even feel the need to do that here! However…” Zero casually lowered himself into a fighting stance, legs spreading to get a firm hold on the soft earth for traction. A malicious devious growl bubbled in his gut, tunneling through his chops and smirk, “If you want a fight…I can do that for you. If you want your death…well, that was already going to happen to you anyways…”
The behemoth eyed the rat abrasively, lashing his tail back and forth with a pleasant smirk. Zero paced around his subject, making a wide circle around her, waiting for her to make the first move. It was figured she would with her bold stupid attitude. It was going to be a quick battle, Zero thought in his head confidently. How could this fight be any different from the others he has had? Trained, precise, Zero had all too much practice slaughtering souls and ripping the soft tissue and skin off the hinds of the impure and weak minded.
“I know you’re idol Serena you know. I worked with her side by side in a sense…so did the wonderful Dragunov. She had to turn her head to the evil ways though…you have been manipulated little girl. Do you still stand by her pathetic cause to defend all? You should feel shamed to betray wolf kind…I’ll kill you for your insubordination. You now deserve it. You can go down like a reformed saint if you let me kill you quickly…or you can go down like a sinner, by fighting me. It’s your choice.” Zero flicked his tail above his head, smirking at her. Cooing his words, teasing her harshly with words he knew the girl would probably bust at. This was going to be all to fun…just like how Theravada went, Zero wanted to hear this girl scream and beg, crying for mercy from a frickin’ angel.
