I've been toying with the idea of creating a werewolf rp forum. However, I'd like to know if anyone out there wolf be interested in joining if I did. Building a good site takes a lot of work and I don't want it all to be for nothing; and the best way to get new people to join is to have a base of writers who are clearly active on the site.
Sooooo, would anyone be interested? And if so, what sort of werewolf features would you like to find in a site?

I'm very interested in a Werewolf Rp site, and i know a friend of mine who would also be interested considering she loves werewolves as much as she does, only thing is i just re-created a site that contains werewolves and every other kind of supernatural, but i could talk to her.
As for Werewolf Features, what do you mean?

By features I mean mostly dynamics. For example, werewolf packs or no? I ask that because Prissy and I were chatting about it, and I'm pretty sure that she mentioned she's looking for a site that isn't centered around pack life.

I personally enjoy the werewolf packs, my views on werewolves follow alone the lines of the Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton. Her's however is like one werewolf pack to every city. Now if say that was to happen i think that it could be simply an option to do, not something that HAS to be done or centered around but there.... if that makes sense o.0 i like my lone wolves, so to speak, so it would be cool to have that as well i suppose.
Now, i know how Prism views werewolves, and I'm all for the more wolf like appearance to the up-right wolf form. How do you view them?

I've got various views of them. When I ran a werewolf guild on neopets I offered three different form types. One was just a huge, "average" type wolf, then there was the traditional upright wolf man similar to the ones in the movie Van Helsing; and then a "halfing" form which was something of a cross between the two, a tall, lanky wolf that looks similar to the "average" form but can stand on its hind legs, and run on them over short distances.
Which form characters took depended on whether they were pure bloods or bitten, and if they were bitten it depended on how pure or diluted their received bloodline was.

Actually, that sounds really freaking awesome. I really like that idea. What if the werewolf site was based on the bloodlines? if that was to happen you could actually do a lot more. though i figure those with diluted bloodlines would stick together and the same being said for the more pure blooded ones.
Are you and Prissy putting this together or are you, right now just trying to figure out ideas? I think a lot can happen with the bloodlines thing though. But another question, do said werewolves ever turn back into their human form or are they, like in Van Helsing, stuck in their werewolf form?

I'm just working out ideas at the moment. I was leaning somewhat towards a bloodline based idea, because I like the conflict between them.
I like for them to be able to shift between human and wolf forms because I think it gives more option for what can be done with characters. I also like to tie that into what kind of wolf they are. Pure bloods would naturally have a lot more control over shifting forms, whereas those that were bitten have to learn how to manage the change. Bitten wolves with very powerful bloodlines have an easier time learning to control the change, and generally it becomes harder depending on how full the moon is, or something along those lines.

I really like that idea actually. I think that would make it far more interesting as well without the whole pack base factor. I'd definitely join. Its also unusual ion a sense for Werewolves because i've never seen the bloodline thing used for Werewolves but i have seen it used for vampires and some other supernatural creatures and such.
What else are you looking for idea wise?

Sweet. I'm glad to hear that you like it lol. I know it's not the most "original" type of thing for the supernatural genre, but I've had a lot of fun using that general set up in the past.
What kind of world setting do you most prefer? Life as usual, pre/post Apocalyptic, war torn: Modern day, or maybe something from a more 1800's or even medieval time period?
